Q:How well would this light work in a spray paint booth? I only spray water base, so explosion proof is not necessary. Regular shop lights produce to many shadows.

A: Mounted 2 of these under the gable end (flush mount) of my garage roof for a late evening auto work. Would only tilt one of the light strips 30 degrees towards whatever was being worked on in the driveway. Worked so good I wired them up permanently

You will need special 0-10v dimmer switch and control with gray/violet or pink/violet control wires for about $75.

A: You can use 0-10V dimmer. A 0-10V dimmable fixture can be paired with a 0-10V dimmer using purple and grey low voltage wires. Please see the below link to access 0-10V dimming guide for more details.

A: If you would like to use 0-10V dimmer. The driver in the fixture has the grey and purple dimming wires and can still be dimmed by connecting grey and purple to dimmer switch. Please use the below link to access 0-10V dimming guide.

In case dimming not required they can capped off grey and purple dimming wires separately but cannot cap them off together.

A: The installing contractor is suppose to calculate that. They take the wattage from the spec sheet and divide it by the voltage on their jobsite to get the amp draw per fixture. They should easily be able to determine their load.

A: You can put 8 on a dedicated 15 amp ckt, or 11 on a dedicated 20 amp circuit at 120 volts. Nothing else can be on the circuit.
