I was worried these lights were going to be too directional and cast shadows, but the diffuser works great and aiming them upwards gives perfect lighting in a garage. I like to film stuff and cheaper LED lights have a noticeable flicker on camera... not these, whatever LED driver they used in this is high quality. I wired all the dimmer wires together and control them with a single 10k potentiometer. I got these on clearance but would buy them again at full price.

Love this light , so bright, so easy to hang, was on sale cheap so I bought 1, went to the shop and installed it, plugged it in, and WOW so I ran back to the depot to by the last two!

I just installed these for a neighbor and would love a recommendation on a dimmer switch please help.

Had to modifiy restricter brackets because it only allows panel articulation in opposite directions. Using 3 0-10v rotary knob dimmers (not shown) at 50% for general projects. It's nice to crank up to 100% for more intricate involved projects where more light is required. Dimmer wire pairs ran internally to far end of fixtures. All 3 fixtures are connected and internally ran with single power wire. Pics are from installation phase. Overkill? Agreed - AMERICA! I love these lights!

I replaced my high bay 4' T8 fluorescent lights in my shop with these and wow what a difference! I was a little concerned about going from 4' to 2' lights but these put off an amazing amount of light. They were simple to install, light weight, and I feel like I was working in the dark all these years with my T8's. My only regret is not switching sooner and not using these when I replaced all my T8 fixtures last year due to failed ballasts in my old lights. Great value!

These lights are very bright. I have a 30x50 shop and hung 3 lights up high and it is plenty of light. Very pleased as long as they last

23,223 Lumens ! Plus adjustable output and adjustable direction of light. I have a big garage. I put 3 equally spaced fixtures front to back from the ceiling down the middle of the garage. Then I adjusted these directional lights right and left toward the side walls of the garage. Then I glued 3 tiny dimmers side by side on the wall next to my garage/kitchen door. You will rarely use full bright setting ! You will think you installed the sun in your garage. You will be calling family and friends to check this out.

Pleasantly surprised! Got this to add a little more lighting in my work area in the garage and this light is way more brighter than the full size one I already have. Installation is a breeze since it’s low wattage, the lights can be adjusted and pointed towards your work area or wherever you need it. The chains make height adjustments and placement very easy, just the brightness makes it a worthy buy.

These give off great light, much brighter than what they replaced, and with the added benefit of instant full brightness regardless of temperature. They diffuse the light well, providing even lighting with no spotlight effect of any kind. Mounting was a breeze, I hung the included brackets from my ceiling, clipped the lights up, and was pleased by the easily adjustable cable hangers. Due to my existing electrical configuration I fitted these lights with a short cord and plug, then simply had to plug then into my existing receptacles after hanging them.

Husband's workshop is in a pole barn and he's always needing more light. Since the structure is a pole barn (high rafters), we decided to try this high bay Metalux light. It's 26" size was a bit questionable, but the light output is amazing! He said he's going to buy more of these lights: installation was easy with the compact size, and he is VERY pleased with the light these provide.

These lights are bright, cast a wide area of illumination and can be aimed for task-specific operations. Because these can be ceiling-mounted on chains, they are very easy to hang. And they come with mounting chains included. The sturdy metal housing allows easy installation with minimal effort. Just drill holes, screw in hooks and hang. The only caveat is, they do NOT have a power cord attached! These must be wired by a competent electrician. I think that is an unnecessary and myopic way to save production costs. It would cost the manufacturer very little to include a pre-wired UL-approved power supply and cord for such a low wattage device. Any small increase in production costs could be easily recouped in extra profit by making them more convenient and thereby selling more units. Other manufacturers do that. Why can't this one? Bottom line? Quality and design is very GOOD. But requiring an electrician to do wiring is an expensive, time-wasting nuisance.

The Metalux High Bay LED has 15000 lumens of 5000k bright white in two strips that can be aimed independantly to flood light into any area. I needed good light for better visibility and safety with power tools and the Metalux delivered nicely. Each side can be aimed to concentrate or spread the light as may be needed for any particular project or tool setup. There are wiring knockouts on the back, each end, and each side of the center section to make any type of connections easier. The included 40 inch chains with carabiner clips on one end made it easy to hang the light and wirenut connections made hookup simple. If I ever want to move it the carabiner clips make that easy too. The wiring is built in to allow connection of any standard 0-10volt dimmer controller (not included) to be connected easily as well. The white finish gives it a good clean look.

I had this 400 watt Bay light over my welding table at work. . But I am now thinking about putting over my work table. It's bright. 15000 lumens. And this was the lower lumens. The other brighter one is 23000 lumens. . But it's over my weld table for now. And I am very impressed on how bright and how good it looks. Another great feature is each row of lights I can actually move it forward and back A 150ﾟ. If you can set up a standard shop light then you can set this light up just as easy. By the time I got all my tools together I set up in less than 5 minutes. Very easy straightforward installation So take a look at some of the pics I put out there to show you how bright these lights are on my welding table.

In case you missed it the acronym HBLAO stands for Highbay Linear w/ Aimable Optics. Definitely higher quality and a huge improvement in brightness and energy efficiency from my prior 4 ft. LED shop lights which only put out ~4,500 lumens. This unit produces over 3X light output at 15,000 lumens. If you aren't mounting at the 20-25 feet height, you may want to purchase the optional dimmer to tone it down a bit. You need to supply your own power cord (I used a cord reclaimed from a failed dehumidifier). You will also need to also buy a 3/8" Trade Size (1/2" knockout) Cable Connector to secure your electrical wire through the access plate which has standard 7/8” Knockout Out. Would be nice to have this 40 cent item included. Overall very high quality, 5 year warranty, and well designed product.

I got this to replace an existing light in my shop. I have never used a LED shop light before. And I was a little concerned about it's performance. Or would it put out enough light to be useful. Well the answer was an amazing yes. The Metalux 2 ft./26 in. 600-Watt Equivalent, Integrated LED, White High Bay Light 23000 Lumens 5000K w/Aimable Opticse is in one word, awesome.This little light actually puts out more light than my large shop light. You are also able to dim the light if needed. This light is very simple to hook up and install. I'me going back and buy another one to replace my large shop light. Great shop light.

There are two physically identical versions of this amazing light fixture available. One that will produce 600 watts equivalent of 5000 degree Kelvin paper-white work area light, and this one that is electronically and functionally the same, also dimmer switch ready, and it has the same ability to aim the two LED light panels to fit your needs exactly. The selection of exactly what output you really need is a matter of assessing the purpose you will put it to, and an evaluation of the location. Higher ceilings, darker wall color and lower reflectivity will require more light for the same illumination of your work area. I have both versions in service, and I have found that this 400 watt equivalent fixture is really excellent to light up general storage and traffic areas and individual workstations while the brighter fixture excels at servicing electronic and general assembly areas, hobby and craft tables or a garage environment where close work, shadow elimination and eliminating eye strain while you work is desirable. This is a compact, up to date, nice looking, well thought out light fixture. It produces an amazing light output for the size of it. There is not much to be done in zipping it up and getting it online. It goes up very quickly. It comes with teel chain and easy to assemble wire hangers that go up without tools, and you can install it in places that would otherwise be challenging to impossible, because it can hang below pipe, conduit, and even air handling equipment. You can wire this fixture one after another to take advantage of a single available circuit and switch. This save time and money. Unlike incandescent lights and spotlights that are very directional, harsh and produce dark shadows and eye strain, this fixture has two light panels that are aimable, so you can use a single fixture to do a workstation and the area around it. This LED light is very different from other lights I have. The side panels swivel to direct the light where you need it. It is very bright and seems well made. It does come with a chain for hanging it if you want to. The frame is metal and the light covers are plastic. It does have some weight to it. The light that it puts out is a very white light not a dull white.

In the past when you needed to light up an area such as a garage or work shop you would just start adding light bulbs until you had enough light , but it was usually both good and nad because the bulbs were spotty and over intense and created a great deal of heat and power usage. Then along came METALUX with a smart ceiling mounted LED work light that not only had tilting lighting on both sides allowing easy direction and with very sufficient brightness to really give an overall lighting solution. This fixture is by far the best solution I have ever seen to reasonable provide the best possible lighting as needed particularly where close up vision is often necessary.

I occasionally paint in a paint booth and this adjustable angle LED light will work well on a stand or hanging in my paint booth. The Cooper Lightning Metalux LED is 12” x 26” and possesses two separate and independently adjustable lights to either focus light in an area or to equally spread out the light as a high bay light. Its output is a little over 23,000 lumens, 166 watts and my preferred 5000k (daylight) light color. It is dimmable and the wires are identified, if you opt to install with a dimmer. The light seems very well build and comes with the chains and hanging hardware. It is heavier than a conventional LED light, but I typically equate that to a well built product.

More than enough light for a residential two car garage. Although recommended for commercial, high bay type situations it is perfect in other situations too like a residential garage over a workbench, etc. It is small in size but produces a lot of light and with aimable light panels there won't be any dark corners in the garage. Installation is a breeze. A traditional three wire install. I didn't have a dimmer requirement, so I left the two dimmer wires capped. I installed it very close to the ceiling. About half the distance a garage door opener is from the ceiling. Very impressed.

Metalux…. This 2 ft./26 in 400-watt equivalent, integrated LED, dimmable white high bay light 15000 lumens 5000K with aimable optics. What a Great light it arrived in perfect condition and was very well packaged, this light is very well engineered and constructed (Heavy Duty), for only using 109 watts and only two ft long it lights up my entire garage/shop, it is so bright it’s the only light you will ever need, the fixture is 12” x 26” low profile steel construction, and the two lights are rotatable up to 150 degrees. what an excellent feature, it includes two wire hangers, 2 39 “chains and two carabiner clips, I think it works great mounted at any height and in any size space. This is a Great Product and I highly recommend it.

I got this shop light fixture to provide better light over my table saw setup and when I got it I was impressed with the quality of the product. It's well made and it is made so that you can tilt the two separate lights at different angles in order to throw light where you need it most. It might seem like a small detail but the chains and brackets that they inlcude for hanging the light are really nice, the chains have carabiner type clips at one end which makes installing the light easier.

At first I thought this light was only good for commercial, high bay type situations. I tried it in a regular, residential two car garage. I'm amazed at how bright it is. The aimable light is very useful to maximize light in the darker areas of the garage. Installation is a breeze. A traditional three wire install. I didn't have a dimmer requirement, so I left the two dimmer wires capped. These lights are functional in all kinds of situations from high bay commercial to residential, even over a workbench. Very impressed.

I bought these to replace the constantly failing commercial electric brand , these were way easier to ceiling mount and have these have already outlasted some of those commercial electric units 9 of ten of those failed some replacements lasting only weeks ( yup)

Phenomenal lights. I bought three for my basements, and wow! The fixture gives excellent light output and lights up the whole basement as if it was daylight. My wife also loves them for when she does laundry. I would buy again without thinking twice.DDA

I put 8 of these in my 32x52 garage, they're pretty bright, very low profile. So far I'm happy with the lighting.
