A:  With the correct bit, I would imagine so.. I've used it on metal and plastic so far.

A:  It would depend on how think the plywood is, and the bit you are using. If you are cutting around plastic electrical boxes, you stand a boot chance of chewing up the box. You may want to consider using a multi-tool instead.

A:  I use the 6.0ah High Output battery with this grinder and it lasts quite awhile. For my projects I tend to grind for 15 minutes or less at a time and it has not run out of juice.

A:  The 8 and 12ah batteries are available from Milwaukee.

A:  The intention is to use a 6 ah high output battery. I would expect that it will work OK for small jobs less than 20 minutes.

A:  Hello! Our M18 Cut Out Tool has the power to cut through drywall with the strapping attached to it. However, keep in mind that this type of application may wear the bit faster.

A:  In my opinion, it doesn’t have the power to do that, also I think it would snap bits off from trying to pull it through that material. Good tool, not for that application though.

A:  This tool would not work well for wood. Look at the oscillating tool.

A:  It is not really designed to cut wood. With the proper bit, you could do it, but it would be slow, and hard on the tool. You would be better off using a jigsaw.
