This product is composed of elastomeric polymers and high-quality synthetic resins which upon curing form a tough rubber-like seal to resist outdoor weather-related elements.

            Q:Can this be used to seal a plastic gas tank leak on mower? It is the best thing I have found for plastic deer feeders and wonder if gasoline would affect it if I let it cure a couple of weeks.

              A:  Thank you for the follow up question. OSI QUAD is paintable with latex paint or primer, once it is fully cured. Cure time is 7-14 days, or longer, and the cure time range is dependent on temperature, humidity and depth of sealant applied.

                A:  Thank you for the question. OSI QUAD Advanced Formula Sealant is designed to seal joints not exceeding the maximum recommended joint width of 3/8 inch. The maximum joint depth should not exceed ½ inch without the use of a backer rod to control the joint depth.
