        by|Jun 1, 2023

        Answer This Question

A:  Thank you for the question. OSI color #423 is still an active product color for both QUAD and QUAD MAX color matched sealants. Most colors are only available via special order through your local retailer. If what you are trying to match is a door frame you might consider QUAD 455 as possibly the next closest match. Either way, it is best to discuss this with your local store associate for assistance.

A:  Thank you for the question. OSI QUAD Sealant is a solvent-based product and cures by solvent evaporation. It is well suited for these applications as long as it is for an exterior use and not on the interior of the home. If solvents are a concern, you might consider OSI QUAD MAX as an alternative to using a solvent-based product.

A:  Thank you for the question. OSI QUAD Window, Door & Siding Sealant is a solvent-based product and can withstand light rain almost immediately, under normal exterior applications, assuming the surfaces were clean and dry prior to application. However, it is recommended to allow skin formation of the sealant to occur over a few hours.
