Q:Does the sprayer have a magnetic ring that will help it stay in place on the main faucet
by|Jun 23, 2023
1 Answer
Answer This Question

A:  The Pfister Canton model #F-529-7CNU pull-down spray head is secured with an advanced spray head docking system that ensures a secure, tight connection to the faucet spout. The pull-down spray head re-locks into the faucet body once it is manually retracted. No magnets are used on the spray head.

      Answer This Question

A:  No, you don't need to hold the button down in spray mode. You just toggle the button to spray mode and it stays in spray until you toggle it back to stream or turn the water off and it will revert back to stream mode.

A:  there are two buttons one for spray and one to turn spray off and it stays on spray until you push the second button or you shut of water source

Q:Need to connect this faucet to portable dishwasher. What part do I need to connect end of hose (after removing sprayer) to dishwasher adapter?
          by|Jun 3, 2022
          1 Answer
          Answer This Question

A:  Pfister does not make an adaptor for this model. Due to the pull down/pull out design, adapting a water filter, portable dishwasher or other accessories to the aerator or hose on the faucet is not recommended.

A:  Yes you can but expensive. Try cleaning head with vinegar and baking soda. Or WD40 and then scrape sediment out first before replacing.

Q:I can't seem to get it off spray. I have pushed the button but nothing.

                    Answer This Question

A:  I have the same problem - i usually insert a thin knife into the side of the button that is pushed in and easily pry it out. It has something to do with the spring inside that gets stuck. There is a way you can open the head of the faucet and fix it but it doesn’t stay fixed. I won’t be buying this brand again.

A:  Mine did the same and I have to use a knife to pull it out from the side.

A:  I have also had this issue with mine. If the spray function doesn't get used much it seems to be worse. I have tried fastening a bag of vinegar around it to alleviate buildup which helps a little. I usually end up taking a narrow knife and popping the spray button out. Would suggest using the spray function more and working it on and off when possible.

A:  If the button is not functioning, then the spray head #950-306Y for Tuscan Bronze or #950-306U for Rustic Bronze would need to be replaced. A:  Yes probably just build up around the buttons happens to me too. You will probably have to get something and carefully jam it out. Scrape out what ever build up you see with a needle or pin. If they loosen play with the buttons for while so they get loose. If it gets stuck repeat. I've had mine for about 6 yrs and does it every now and then. Good luck.

A:  I have never had any issues with the converter button being stuck. It continues to operate smoothly between spraying and normal flow.
