However, if the sand you are picking up is wet, you need to replacement the filter of the vacuum with the wet foam filter VF7000. A:  Hello Shiv, Thanks for your inquiry about our product. VF3502 filter bag works with this model. You'll need to poke a hole along the perforated line on the cardboard or push the cardboard cap into the bag before trying to install onto the inlet to punch a hole in the paper. Insert the cardboard with the rubber gasket over the inlet tube carefully. Push the cardboard collar all the way forward against the drum, making sure the rubber gasket moves over the rib that is present on the inlet port.
