I could not find information on what a DEC head tip is however, all five of the typical drive bits are included in this kit. A:  I actually had the same issue today trying to tighten a screw and it did not hold it i think it only works with certain metals maybe it was aluminum or something that does not grab on.

A:  The product description says: "Includes: Magnetic Screw Guide, Socket Adaptors, and Nut Drivers." This is a little misleading or at least ambiguous; only the screw guide (bit holder) is magnetic.

A:  Of course. The bits work with a drop in chuck or as in your case a hand tightening chuck. Make sure to get the tip of the tool you choose to use inserted firmly in the part you are working on and start slow. This will minimize tool wear. And always wear the proper safety equipment. I.E.gloves and protective eyewear.

A:  No, and neither is the extender-- these are made with the 'click-lock' for use with the impact drill. You would have to use a magnetic extender, I think ryobi has one sold separately, but probably not a click-lock type.

A:  I believe that all of the longer bits are magnetic but I don't think the shorter ones are because you will want to use a but holder for those but you can magnitise the small bits by rubbing them on a magnet
