Q:I have one of these already but I need to generate more wattage what would I have to do to obtain more watts? Would I have to get another separate solar system or can I add more solar panels?

Answer This Question

A:  Hi Josh, Thank you for taking the time to reach out to Renogy. The 10A PWM Wanderer Charge Controller can only handle up to 130W of solar with a 12V battery system. If you have a 24V battery system, then we can still add another 100W solar panel; but if you only have a 12V battery, then we will not be able to add more panels to increase wattage. We hope this helps!

    Answer This Question

A:  Hi. Thank you for taking the time to reach Renogy. Upon researching the Generac GB 2000 Power station, the 100-Watt 12-Volt Off-Grid Solar Starter Kit w/ 1-Piece 100W Monocrystalline Panel and 10A PWM Wanderer Charge Controller is not compatible. Only the solar panel is compatible with the unit as it states on the product page that the unit has a built-in MPPT controller so no controller is needed. I hope this answers your question!
