      Q:How does this model do in below freezing temps? Im @ 4600ft elevation. Regularly see single digit temps in winter. Sometimes just below 0.

      A:  Greetings, All exterior models are designed to withstand the outside elements to an extent. However, I would recommend installing a box around the unit to ensure it does not freeze. Thank you!

        A:  The V65ep has been tested and approved for use at elevations up to 10,200 ft above sea level. Instructions for adjusting to elevations above 200 ft are in the installation manual. Thank you Tara- Rinnai Customer Care

            A:  The V65e does have a controller included. All of our water heaters have a default set temperature of 120 degrees. If you choose not to install the controller, it would heat water to 120 degrees. Tara- Rinnai Customer Care
