A: You can absolutely install 2 drawers side by side. As long as you have the room and the You surface to which you attach the rails is substantial you should have no problem at all with weight. Our one drawer is pretty full and heavy when you pull it out. You might want to make to cardboard cutouts that conform to the drawer's dimensions and check and see if you have the room before you buy. Good luck.

A: We have a framed cabinet, 21 inches between styles, worked fine. Actual drawer width is 19&7/8 wide, guides are 1/2 inch each side. Have 1/8 inch to spare.

A: It should work. The opening on my cabinet is exactly 21 inches too. The shelf plus brackets are approximately 20 1/4. I had a handyman install and he didn't have any problems. These drawers look great and work beautifully.

Answer This Question
A: This question should be directed to the manufacturer. you can get the guy on the phone! I called him when I got my 15" draws for help with installation and he was very helpful. It seems the product is sold in 2" increments: 15, 17, 19, 21, and 23" widths. Assuming you can't get a custom made 16" draw you can install a 15" draw and just shim out the supports with some 1/2" stock on both sides.

A: Not sure about the 16” width. I do know that you will need to take your width measurement for your drawer following the instructions from the manufacturer. ie: the 15” drawer is for an opening with clear dimension of 16”.

A: The 15 inch shelf is thinner to give it the ability to fit a 16 inch opening. There is tracks which need to be mounted on each side which takes up the 1 inch giving you the 15 inch width. Each shelf width is one inch less than a standard size opening.

A: You’ll need to have some sort of material on the sides or bottoms of the rails to fasten the slides too.

A: It is designed to sit on a shelf. Perhaps you can design another mounting method, like attaching 2x2s to the sides.

A: My installation required the shelves to remain. I attached the shelf slides to the existing shelf. I am very happy with my purchase.
