Regarding your concern, this microwave as 3 types of ventilation you can choose from. The types of ventilation are the following: 1. Outside Top Exhaust (Vertical Duct) 2. A:  Great question, imBlessed. This microwave does not have the quick heat options that you're speaking of. You have to enter the cooking time manually and press start to begin. ^Lo
