A:  NO. The salt water will corrode the aluminum motor plate. We would recommend our 91292 Stainless steel pump for a salt pool. Thanks

A:  Hi there, This pump has an 8' power cord. Thanks

A:  That should be fine. What you do not want to do is gratly restrict the water flow, like through a spray nozzle or shut off the water flow with the pump still running. Thanks

A:  Hi there, That would depend on what you call DIRTY WATER. It will allow small particals, up to 1/8" to pass through it. Mud or silt will clog the pump. Thanks

A:  Hi Daniel, This pump is on when you plug it in and off when unplugged. Thanks

A:  Hi Dano, The water needs to be at least 1" deep for the pump to prime. Once started, it will take the water down to about 1/4" Thanks
