A: My guess is yes. The legs and table top are very strong. We haven’t had any bending. During assembly make sure to stall the shelf properly so that it does not slip.
A: Weight-wise, I think that should be fine, as each shelf is supposed to hold 150 lbs. Safety-wise, I am not sure.
A: Easily. It would support two or three tanks. This thing is awesome. Plan on purchasing another. Commercial quality.
A: I believe the specifications has the maximum weight the table can hold. I put a couple of printers on the top shelf and together they weight at least 150 pounds with no issues.
A: absolutely yes
A: Arrived damaged
A: It has been a few years since I purchased this item, I would say approximately 30 pounds.
A: I cannot locate the gauge of it (like our stainless sink). However, it dents and dings pretty easily. Ours arrived with one and it was inexpensive enough to NOT send it back. If you want an inexpensive island, this will fit the bill. The commercial grades are obviously better if you are concerned about it (we cover with a cloth and/or tempered glass cutting boards or wood ones). In hindsight, I probably should've brought it back to the store. I just needed an island.
A: Not sure of the gauge. But it's very very heavy duty commercial quality. I've had mine for over two years use it daily love it. Plan on buying another one soon.
A: Yes, the shelf is adjustable.
A: No, the shelf is not adjustable.
A: Totally, from just off of the floor to the top
A: yes fully
A: Yes, you can adjust the bottom shelf from about 3 inches off of the floor up to directly under the table top
A: Yes, the shelf is adjustable. Wish there were two shelves per table. I installed the shelf upside down in order to have things incased with a rim. Love the table.
A: Yes the shelf is adjustable.
A: It comes with the lower shelf, but I don't think you can purchase an additional one.
A: You can purchase shelves and racks for this sized table online, easily. Even wine racks. I don't know what Home Depot offers.
A: You can raise it as high as you want. I use it as my kitchen table with 24 inch bench stools. looks and works great.
A: The shelf can be moved all the way up to under the top.
A: i think you can adjust the bottom shelf as high as you need. The main issue is the table may become less stable with the bottom shelf raised to a very high level.
A: The shelf can be raised to right under the tabletop, all the way up.
A: Finally got around to examining the S/S table. To answer the 'question'..... No, the one I have came with the shelf -- factory positioned at the low level. My understanding is Q1 wouid like to put a stool under the table. Thus indicating to me.... Q1 wants to store a stool under the shelf. Why not place the stool atop the shelf instead. Add a piece of cardboard or folded butcher paper for sanitary reason. Should this not fit Q1's agenda....... the shelf can be positioned whereever Q1 would want by simply unfastening the shelf. Then reposition to desired height -- Clamp into place measuring for 'level' then drill 1/4 in. holes thru shelf support and the entire leg. Refasten with 1/4 -20 Stainless pan or button head 2-1/2 in long bolts. Secure on the inside of the shelf with S/S 1/4 fender washer and S/S Nylok nut. *** I placed Casters on each leg ( all lockable) HOW? Glad you asked. Here is where Home Desporate came in again..... Purchased casters with un-threaded posts 3/8 dia. Drilled and threaded the PLASTIC FEET to accept the 3/8ths. threaded Caster Posts added Blue Loctite and affixed each to a leg. Lot cheaper than purchasing Caster Kit or Table with Casters installed.... Sorry for the extended delay in answering..... was having tooooo much fun otherwise.
A: Yes, a hot plate can be placed on this table. The country of origin is China.
A: It's stainless so yes. I have two and love em. Who cares where it's made!
A: Hotplate .... I dont think that would work out to well. The surface is easily smudged and scratched. I keep it covered and therefore I do not have to concern with this. It is a beautiful stable but stainless steel such as fridges and tables get smudge marks and scratches if not careful. That being said, a hotplate would create some imperfections in the table. BUt you could put something thick underneath. Some have put a block of wood on top of the entire table. Made in USA? I do not know this information. Sorry and best wishes to you.
A: Any time I use a 'Hot Plate', Slow Cooker, or any other electrical kitchen device which has a heating element on the bottom.... I ALWAYS USE A 'CORK' PAD UNDER said appliance. This includes Granite Counter Tops, Stainless Steel Table, or Custom Made Dining Table. An 'ounce of prevention is worth a full pound of cure'..... or so my Parents taught us. As for being made in the U.S. of A........ Have discarded all documents... no indicators on top, sides or underneath the shelving to identify Mfg. origin. Alterations. After, researching what a set of 'Caster's' were listed for. I opted to visit Harbor Freight and purchased a set a lot cheaper. Then set about to drill and tap the plastic table leg inserts. WALLA!!! Success.....! Would I purchase again.... YES. Also purchased the smaller S/S table with adjustable drawer on casters. Yes, would also purchase this again. *** Word of Caution *** It has been my experience when Home Depot first introduces a product it is of excellent materials. However, once the product is sold OUT. The next order is of inferior materials and construction. I have experienced this first with an 85,000+ BTU S/S BBQ, and instore purchased Wooden Cabinets.....
A: I don’t know if you can use a hotplate, have not done so. I’m assuming you are speaking of cooking with a hotplate of sort sitting on the table. Seems to me that would be fine. If I were to remove a hot dish from stove/oven, or microwave I would have hot pad under it. Just happens to be a habit with the way I do things. If you put a hot dish/bowl etc. down on a cold surface, it could break. Don’t know if it would leave a scorch/ burn mark on the table. Also, do not know if it was made in USA. I hope so. But, the service this table provides for what I need it for, the price, and it looks great, cleans well. Get lots of compliments. I love it and very satisfied.
A: Hello, Thank you for your inquiry. If by "hotplate" you are referring to the small tabletop appliance, that would be okay to use. The item is manufactured in China.
A: Approximately 30-35 lbs
A: The table is 43.8 pounds.
A: Hi Pam, thank you for your interest in TRINITY products, and thank you for bringing this to our attention! The table is, indeed, 48" in length, as indicated at the top of the page. We're going to make sure the product specifications are adjusted to match that. The dimensions are 48" W x 24" D. Please don't hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions! Jane
A: My tape measure says it is 48 inches wide, 24 inches deep, and 34 11/16 tall. To be less ambiguous, they should have used width/depth/height.
A: It's 24 in wide, 48 in long, 35 in high. Love this table. It's commercial grade and heavy. We use it as a prep table in a kitchen. That's the one I have anyway. They may make different models/sizes.
A: My table is 2 ft by 4 ft. Perfect for extra prep space and some storage.
A: The 24” measurement is actually the width of the table. The length is 48”.
A: Yes, the length is 48 inches and the width is 24 inches.
A: Dimensions are correct....4 ft x 2 ft
A: Dimensions (W x D x H) 48" x 24" x 35" H=height of the bag from top to bottom, W=width is from side to side and D=depth which is the opening of the top of the bag and how wide the top of the bag is from side to side. How long or (wide)? It is 48" How high?....it is 35". Depth is 24"
A: The table is four feet in length.
A: We live on one level...need to inquire with HD or whoever delivers it
A: Hi Karin, thank you for your interest in TRINITY products. That would depend on UPS so I wouldn't be able to answer your question. I would suggest calling UPS to find out what their delivery staff would do in that situation. Please don't hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions! Jane
