Q:Is the electronic keypad weatherproof? I need the code on the outside where it will be exposed to rain. I?ve read answers that the external lock is weatherproof but I believe you are referring to the keyed side which is opposite the electronics. Thanks

      A:  Yes.   There is only one deadbolt… it’s either locked or it’s unlocked.

        A:  The inside does not lock. You can always get out by just moving the lever handle.

          A:  Autolock sets the door to lock upon closing the outside. If you push the handle down from the inside you can open the door, upon closing the door it will lock. Hope this helps.

              A:  it opens the door   - but it does not start the auto lock - there is no auto lock

                A:  No it does not. Opening the door from the inside does nothing to the out side handle.

                  A:  As soon as you shut the door it is locked. To be honest, I wouldn't waste money on this lock. The first lock failed after 6 weeks and the replacement lock has never worked properly. The finger print recognition only work 1 in 100 times.

                        A:  No it’s a regular door lock  I like it cuz I’m handicapped and looking for my keys is a PIA. But be prepared to change the batteries every couple of weeks

                              Q:Does passage mode work like this: if I set passage mode time from 6am to 8pm, does the door automatically unlock at 6 am and lock at 8 pm? I have tried a different product and the unlock doesn't work automatically, but once unlocked it stays unlocked.
