Questions and Answers for Ultraloq Satin Nickel Bluetooth Enabled Fingerprint and Touchscreen Smart Door Lock

A:  The lock includes a key to use for a backup if the batteries were to die. The keyway is on the bottom of the exterior portion of the lock. 

A:  If you don’t have the key. Using your phone app should work to get you in.  Had for a year now on our main door. Haven’t had to replace battery yet. 

A:  There is a key for the lock in a situation where the lock’s battery dies.  

A:  When batteries are low, it still allows the keypad to work, but won’t recognize fingerprint. If they are dead, you can use a key in the bottom of the lock.

A:  You have to use the key that came with the lock. 

A:  The lock comes with a key that is used to open the lock for entrance if the batteries die

A:  I believe it is a level 1or 2. It is not a bead bolt. 

A:  No, this is not a deadbolt. My advice is to avoid this lock at all cost. My first lock failed within 2 weeks. After weeks of correspondence, they finally sent me a refurbished replacement, not even a new lock. The fingerprint feature has never worked reliably, which is really disappointing since this is the feature that drew me to this lock in the first place.

A:  This lock is not a deadbolt and does not meet the minimum requirements to be ANSI rated.

A:  Yes this is a deadbolt.    No idea on ANSI portion of question

A:  Yes. You can do a swap and install the Ultraloq lever lock on the top and your current deadbolt lock on the bottom.

A:  Yes, but the names appear on the log will be the names people set in the app - user information - nickname or real name depends on people.

A:  Not believe so. Stepdaughter stole our keys so they are basically worhtless now.

A:  I doubt it. Even trying to duplicate the same key couldn't be done. Tried it twice, it failed and I gave up.
