Arcada Black Projection Mount Outswing Steel Patio Security Door with Expanded Metal Screen (205139390) affixes over the sliding patio door, and it projects 3 in. from the mounting surface.               Q:My patio door is very near a corner. I only have about 1 3/4" on the left side. How much room is needed to secure the side tabs/how long are the side tabs? If they are longer than what I have, is there another way to install without the side tabs?

                Q:What is the thickness of the lockbox, it is not mentioned in any of the literature and the Unique Home Designs website is of no help...also will the patio Security Door allow a 1 inch throw for the deadbolt?

                A:  Thank you for your interest in our Arcada Patio Security Door. The thickness of the lockbox is 1 ½ inches thick but it bevels around the escutcheon plate to 1 ¾ to accept hardware. The Arcada will also allow a 1 inch throw on the deadbolt.
