A:  I used it to attach heavy, double layer sofa fabric to an oak frame. Thickness of your rug and sufficient length of staples is most important. This unit should drive them with no problems.

A:  Yes, it should. I used it for just that purpose when I decided to built a “cat village” or giant cat climber that was carpeted. I used mostly 2x’s, and 1/2 “MDF, 3/4” plywood.

A:  This one uses T50 staples.They offer these in different lenths and made under Arrow,Bostitch,Stanley,Craftsman and many other brand names.

A:  This stapler will do most jobs you have in mind for a tool like this. For the price it's the best!

A:  This stapler will only accept 3/8" crown staples. If the box of Dewalt staples are the 15/32" size crown then they are much to wide to fit this stapler. The Arrow T50 1/4" to 9/16" length are a perfect fit.
