Q:I bought 2 of these for my shop, the holes are cut. The problem i am running into is the fan cage is flush to the outside of the nailing flang.
So i am trying to mount it from tbe outside and i can't because of the cage.
Please help!

A: No, you'll have to provide wiring to the motor, of course you could add a thermostat then. Great fan, be sure to make a sturdy frame to mount it in.

Q:I am looking to install in a 1600 sq. ft. L shape ranch attic. What cfm will i need to reduce heat in said attic so my central air unit doesnt work as hard. I have a gable end vent at one end and ridge vents through out. Looking to install at opposite end of gable end vent over garage so noise wont be a factor.

A: I just installed one and unless you don't have it secure it does not vibrate. I added 2 screws on each side in towards the middle around the outside to hold in tighter to the building. Works great!

A: I added a brace at the back of the motor to the wall to stop the vibration. Otherwise it would have destroyed itself quickly.
