The microwave itself is great and works perfectly well, but the assembly process kind of sucked. The template for under the cabinet didn't actually line up with the holes for the top of the microwave, and even when I widened the holes in the cabinet, the threads for one of the holes in the top of the microwave were slanted, so it kept cross threading the screw until the threads actually snapped off. I replaced the unit with another one from home Depot, and the same set of threads were slanted on it, although this time slightly less slanted so it didn't cross thread so i was able to actually get it to work. Overall, I would still recommend as I'm sure I am the one that messed up the template part, but I definitely didn't mess up the fact that the threads were slanted.

I truly LOVE the No Name Black Range Microwave. I started out only researching name brand Range Microwave however the No Name brand Range work PERFECT and it was for a GREAT price !!! The install instructions was very user friendly. I am a very satisfied customer.

Purchased this microwave in 8/2018. After the first year we started noticing things. The food started to require double the time to heat up, the display cracked (which prompted me to use electrical tape) and then in November 2020 (a little over 2 years) it just died. I had an electrician come out and check it as I thought the outlet itself was the problem. This microwave cost too much to die after 2 years. We had it installed over our stove and all now we have to get it removed. This microwave has made me second guess even adding the next microwave above my stove in the event that the same thing will happen after 2 years. I’ve never had extended warranty on microwaves as they’ve lasted at least 5 years. Even the $40 I purchased in college. Very disappointed

Easy to install and easy to use! This is a replacement for one the was in the rv and it fit like a glove and works perfectly! Looks better than the old one and has updated controls too. A total steal for the price when compared to other mre expensive microwaves. Highly recommended!

After a year it stop working ... no heat at all is not good enough

Functional over the range microwave/ exhaust fan. Works as expected- unlike a similar but more expensive Whirlpool microwave purchased originally. Home Depot backs what they sell, unlike Whirlpool.

My purchases Magic Chef over the range microwave when I return back in my repair house after Katrina in the end of 2007 and it is still operating to this state the only reason why I want to purchase a another over ther ange Magic Chef microwave 1.6 cubic feet it is still working it's just that the raw metal is showing right now in the corners you be able to see from the pictures I have not had any problems with it or anything else

As expected. Dimensions were spot on. Installation was a breeze. I'm no professional contractor, but it only took me less than an hour to unpack and install.

I love my new microwave. It fits the space perfectly and has all the bells and whistles. You won't be disappointed!

This Magic Chef 1.6 cu. ft. microwave oven has it all, and the price couldn't be beaten. The 1000 watts of power heats up and or thaws out foods fast and thoroughly with 10 settings. We vented the 2 speed exhaust fan through the existing vent that was originally used for a hood which we removed to make room for the microwave. The only drawback is the dimness of the hood light that illuminates over the stove. We built wood fillers for both sides and installed under the cabinet lights to improve the illumination. It's a nice appliance and looks good over the stove. See photo.

The template for drilling was not accurate but other than that it installed fairly easily.

Really pleased with the look of the microwave and the cooking power.

I now have 4 of these over-the-range microwave ovens in 4 rental homes and they have all worked flawlessly; with the oldest being 4-1/2 years old! Easy to self-install, and easy to use.

Love it! Not too bad too install and it works great!

Our previous Microwave had been a MagicChef and it lasted 14 years so when we replaced it we went with the same brand. We knew it would fit the opening and that since the installation manual showed the same bracket for hanging it we would be able to fit the opening with little or no problems.

Poor quality, stopped working in 14 months right after the expiration of the warrant. Waste of money!

Beautiful new addition to the rental unit, which fits and great!

We bought our Magic Chef microwave about 11years ago and have gone through storms, power outages and hurricanes. She still kept cookin... Remarkable!! I wouldn’t trade my Magic Chef for no other brand. We just bought a black one to match our other kitchen appliances and it was so easy for me and my fiancé to install ourselves and it looks just a chic as the white one we had. Thank Magic Chef

Love this microwave

Was a little different from our last one so took a little longer to get it up.

The microwave was very easy to hang. It came with a hanging template and all the necessary hardware. The microwave works as expected and has numerous features. However, the fan on the microwave is very loud when warming or thawing food.

Love more cooking space in microwave and more counter space for use

Purchased & Installed over 25 of this Model Magic Chef Microwave & all my Customers have been HAPPY!!! Only had One(1) problem and Home Depot made it right.

Easy to install, easy to use and really added value to my newly updated kitchen!

I have had this product for less than one week. I hope that this product will be a reliable product. I felt that the Magic Chef name would be a good choice. I liked the price. There was a strong electrical smell when I opened the box. I tested it before installing. It heated well, so I installed it. It is louder than my previous microwave and there is still an electrical smell after using.

Can't beat the price! You get what you pay for, however. Easy to install for those who know how to hookup these things. Stopped working 1 week after Installation. Bought it on February 16, 2019. Magnetron blew out after 7 days (8-year warranty). Contacted Magic Chef warranty folks. They will send out technician. Will take several days for them to schedule an appointment. Don't know when it will be repaired. When microwave was operating, the "cooling" fan was a lot louder than other microwaves. There is only one under-counter light with 1 setting (no high and low setting), and it is in the back towards the wall which is not a good location for seeing what happens on the range. Needs two bright adjustable lights midway underneath to provide adequate lighting of range.
