Not even one star!! This was the worst product I've ever tried to install in my house. You've got to insert an 1/8th tongue into a grove with no play along an 8 foot length. The product arrived rippled (not flat) due to what could have been a manufacturing issue. In order to install it the whole tongue has to line up and slide in or it just pops out at the end. Impossible with a rippled product!! I got 2 rows up and couldn't get a 4 foot length to install. After a half hour I told my assistant to tear it down because it would take endless hours to install another 300 sq. ft. It might have worked if I had an assistant for every foot I was putting up. Not feasible or cost effective. One more interesting fact about the instructions. It says to lay out the product in the climate you're installing it for 72 hours before you install it. It might be a good idea to put this on the outer label before you get your assistant hired and start opening packages. Also who has the room to lay out 8 foot planks all over the house for 72 hours!!

My son installed these on my bedroom ceiling and vanity room in two weekends, including the crown molding. It looks beautiful and reminds me of the "old Florida" bed and breakfasts we visit.

I bought this and it worked perfectly and was easy to INSTALL! Saved me from not having to pay someone to install it.

Product was very flimsy hard to connect

The quality of these boards is horrible. They were warped and even after letting the boards acclimate to the current environment, it didn’t help. I ended up ruining one board trying to install it and then decided to return it all. HD then Refused to refund on my money since the one board was broken.

I'm extremely disappointed in this product. The tongues and grooves did not fit together well and a number of the planks were warped enough so as to make it almost impossible to get them flat against the wall, even with panel adhesive and nails. If I could rip it off the walls, I would, regardless if it is returnable. Now, I'm likely going to have to cover over with cut to size 4 x 8 sheets. I guess I should have read the reviews before placing a special order. Definitely not recommended.

Worse paneling I've ever worked with.I have to trim toung and sand each groove or there almost impossible to fit together.pain to work with.

Rather poor Quality to say the least. Had to return 2 out of 4 boxes due to water damage mold and dents and dings that did not happen in shipping Then tried to install it in the ceiling - Very bad To save the marriage we return unopened boxes and choose a completely different product - wood based rather than MDF - that I was able to install by myself

I purchased these planks to update my dark basement. .The planks were easy to install. I followed other comments and made sure to level after each plank is inserted. We painted the planking and the finish product a glossy white and is looks fantastic. I definitely recommend this product!!

I put this on my degraded lath&plaster kitchen ceiling with loctite clue and finish nailer(2in). It was easy to cut and a good weight to work with over head. A little hard to push together due to my uneven ceiling but made it work. Wish I knew how to due that download pics, 'cause it turned out beautiful. Finished kitchen in Nov. now plan to use this on my bathroom ceiling next year! Oh! did I mention that two 70 year old neighbor ladies did this great job!

This is pretty horrible to install. I have previously installed the same type of planking that I bought at a competing box hardware store. That previous brand planking went up without a problem at all. However, this product does not. The problem is the material used in the groove. It is too spongy and fragile and does not allow one plank to easily fit into the other. I compared a piece of my old product and it's groove feels harder and more like wood. The result is you have to fight with this stuff to install it and the divisions where one plank ends and another begins are very obvious. Not the look intended with this product. This was not true of the brand I used in the past. I wish I had not purchased this and recommend that you look elsewhere for a higher quality product.

Do not waste your time or money. This is a horrible product to work with and has caused unnecessary extra expense and frustration with our kitchen ceiling remodel project. Unfortunately I painted the product before putting it up on the ceiling, so it is not returnable. Guess the $500 that I spent will make a good story around the bonfire

I wish I hadn't bought this stuff. Right off the bat, the instructions say to open the package and allow the planks to sit for 72 hours. Then it says to paint both sides. Now with a light coat of paint, the tongue and groove won't fit together. Be smarter than me and just buy the 48" panels if you want the bead board look.

I used this product to panel a previously drywalled hallway, and I had to work this beadboard around 2 bi-fold closets and 5 doors. The long, single planks were easy to cut and trim to fit all these difficult areas, and that never could have been done as easily using 4' x 8' panels. The tongue and groove slip joints are simple once you get the hang of it. I installed this singlehandedly and used small nails and no glue with no problems. This is a rental property so the hallway walls can take a beating but I've had no problems with damage in almost 5 years of use. Everyone comments how great it looks, and a friend is doing the same thing at his place after seeing mine.

The boards were easy to cut, but were very thin. I was nervous that the boards would flake away before I got them on the wall. I nailed them with 1" brads because I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to cover the nail holes if I used anything larger. The overall job looked very nice when I was finished, but i don't see them lasting that long. I hope they do.

Does anyone know -- Is there an EASY way to get the tongues fitting into the grooves? The "Hammer and a Wood Block" suggestion in the Instructions, too often results in knocking the plank out of its Groove at the other end.

this product looked to me like they made it on friday afternoon!!!...in a hurry. the groove does not mach up with the tounge, in most pieces i have the tounge doesnt even fit into the groove, also when you nail it solid you cant get the next piece to side into the groove. very poorly made, very inconsistent pieces, maybe every forth or fifth board is made correctly. very disappionted in this, once i get it all up it will just look okay, if i didnt have it glued i would pull it all down and get something else. i plan on visiting home depot with a few of these pieces and giving them a big piece of my mind. and also my wife has discover many new cuss words, some i didnt know i new!!!!! dont buy it!!!

We used this as a ceiling for our remodeled kitchen, it looks wonderful. It is a two person job to get it installed needing both glue and small nails. So install was a little more than we thought but the end result is wonderful.

I remodeled a small master bath, went with a vintage look and utilized the beadboard and related moldings. they look great! Added that final touch that I was looking for. Easy to install and coordinate well.

We found the product easy to work with and to install. We purchased this from the website for home delivery. Note that the local store DOES NOT stock the same material, interlocking edges are machined differently on the store product, so when we decided to purchase a bit more we had to re-order from the website.

In a room with lots of cuts, this was easier to work with than 4 x 8 panelling sheets. I bought multiple packages, and a few panels arrived broken, possibly in shipment. Home Depot was excellent at replacing those promptly.

I used the planks in one of our bedrooms over some old wall paper. The room looks absolutely beautiful.

This is not wood, it is fiberboard, but it looks ok, pain the backside to cut. Make sure you order enough as you cannot buy pieces, as I had to order a whole new pack when I only needed a few feet. However once installed correctly it looks quite good

I have used this product on two different projects and it was easy to install and cleans up very good.

the finished look is amazing - but somehow we received 2 different styles of bead board - a wide version and narrow version. Thankfully we had enough of the narrow version we ordered to completed the job
