The remote did not work so it we returned it to our closest Home Depot for exchange. None in stock or online. I had to reinstall my old log set

The logs were as pretty as they appeared in the picture, and were easy to assemble.

You would think, for $850, you would get a realistic looking and well made wood log set. I mean, it's 400% more than the entry level sets. But no. To start, the log rack was warped and didn't sit flat. The "locks," used to prevent the burner from shifting, were simply bent in half pieces of sheet metal that shifted away from the burner when tightening the cheap machine screw and nut. The provided flexible gas line was too short (by 2"!) to reach supply line that was in the "middle" of the back of the fire box. I wasn't able to center the unit as directed so I purchased a longer line. The logs were mostly realistic looking; however, they were not painted on the ends. So the tan looking ends you see in the picture, that you would assume would look like the center of a log, are simply plain, unpainted, ceramic; not realistic at all. Further more, the "variable" height control is High OR Low. I guess that's "technically" variable, but I expected a bit more granular control for $850. I was really disappointed. For these reasons, I can not recommend. Had I not ordered for a holiday party, I would have sent it back. I plan to get some high temp paint to paint the ends for a more realistic look.

Great product, easy installation. Company support was excellent

Very happy with product. Works great. Produces great heat. Love the remote control. Been using for over a month. Did have to adjust the pilot light flame down some. Was too noisy... easy to adjust with screwdriver... directions in the book.

Better than anticipated Beautiful flame

We bought two sets. One for the living room and one for the media room. They’re very realistic and put off a pleasant glow.

I love my Aspen whisper gas logs.

I purchased two sets of these logs, one for my home and the other for my mother's. I used the Home Depot installation service and they sent out a Home Depot certified plumber in my area. The plumber was very professional and installed the logs based on vendor recommendations. After completing the first installation, I noticed the flames were very low and did not reach the bottom of the logs even with the gas valve turned all the way up. We went to my mom's for the second installation, this was basically a new installation as gas logs had not been installed prior. After completing the second installation, we noticed the same low flames and confirmed the gas valve was turned up. I asked the plumber and he was not sure what could be the cause. After he left, I let them both run for a few hours to see if the flame height would change and it did not, nor did the logs get hot enough to feel the heat while placing your hand in front of the logs. I also hear the sound of gas feeding the line. Plumber thinks it's something with the manufacture product. The only thing good about this is they look great sitting in the fireplace, but the picture in this photo, looks nothing like my two installations. I'm totally disappointed in this purchase, considering the cost of the logs and Home Depot installation service, I would NOT recommend this product.

Very nice gas logs. They look very nice in our remodeled basement family room. The remote control is very easy to operate and control the flame.

The only thing its missing is a blower otherwise its perfect

Extremely nice gas log set....quality construction...looks real. We had it installed professionally which was probably a good idea. It’s not overly complicated, but a small error could result in a big problem. It’s beautiful and provides nice warmth. The remote is a great feature and works well. If you play with the controls you can find the right setting for you. We would buy it again.

I’m very disappointed and calling Home Depot today. Product has a faulty value and isn’t working properly after professional install.

Began having pilot problems after less than a month. Continues to go out although I have adjusted the flame up and down. Very frustrating.

Logs are perfect. Used a professional to install and we are very pleased, especially like the remote control feature.
