I bought an RO-Perm to replace a 17 year old 3M Water Factory 4 stage system. The install went very smoothly in my basement - no issues at all. The lager 3/8” tubing with the permeate pump provide an excellent stream of water at the three dispensing areas I hooked up on the main level of my house. The water quality is excellent and is tastes great as well. Much better than what I was getting with my older system. I am extremely happy with this purchase.

We purchased the ultimate premium quality reverse osmosis system because we have 30 pounds of pressure at our well. It is working fine. Like other reviews it does make a clicking sound to catch up with the well. You may choose to want to mount it not in an area where you hear that sound. The water it created is delicious.

Filter works great. Easy to follow instructions. Installed myself in less than an hour.

This is my second RO unit. The first was a WAY overpriced unit I paid to have installed. As the cartridges were in need of replacement, I decided to look into APEC. I live in the country and have a well, so pressure was variable. The RO-PERM was amazingly easy to install and the unit worked right off. TDS went from 267 to 15. Output pressure more than doubled from my previous unit. The permeate pump is quite audible, but I isolated the unit and wrapped the pump in rubber sheeting. Still a little audible, but once the tank is full it does not run enough to be a problem.

I have just finished installing the Permeate RO system due to low water pressure in my home. Installation was simple and all parts and pieces were included for installation. After one tank dump my TDS dropped from 285 ppm to 8 ppm. Very happy with this product.

It was a semi easy install, i am on a well system and it takes some time to fill the tank but i like the system .

Purchased this system because of all the positive reviews. We are on a well and the water pressure is sometimes near the lower limit of the requirements of the standard Ultimate system, so Apec recommended the Permeate system. Found the installation easy and instructions very well written. Wanted a different faucet than standard, so did pay extra for that. I also upgrade to the 3/8" output filter for improved flow and I'm extremely pleased with the water flow. I added a line to the refrigerator water/ice maker using 3/8" tubing and stepping down to 1/4" behind the refrigerator as it was over 10 feet away. The water tastes great and the flow is very good. The permeate pump does make some noise, but not bad and I haven't tried anything to quiet the noise yet. In use for 2 weeks, so we'll see how it holds up. Would give 5 stars, however HD doesn't allow you to substitute items you don't want when upgrading, so I ended up with an extra faucet and filter.

This was very easy to install. All you have to do is follow the diagram. The connection tubes are all color coded. The pump is a great thing to have as we have low water pressure. Once the tank is filled up, the clean water flows very well.

Excellent product. Very easy to install as a replacement for a 17 year old RO system which was still working OK, but providing a marginal amount of water. We are getting consistent TDS readings which are less than 10%. The permeate pump is providing much more water than the old system. System now has enough pressure to supply refrigerator ice maker. Another big positive -- the replacement filters are much less expensive than our old system. So far, so good.

Good packaging and fits perfect under sink. Very good pressure and flow with upgrade to 3/8” line.

We've only had it installed for about 2 weeks now. I love it. It makes great tasting water. My husband did the install on his own. He thought he would need a plumber, but once he started he was able to finish it. He did not hook it up to a refrigerator. It was noisy for the first 12 hours , but now just hear it for a bit after filling up water glasses and bottles. The only dislike I have is the handle on the facet is small. It could be an inch longer and wider.

I've spent a while researching this auto system because we drink a lot of water in my house. We have well water, so I have to buy lots of cases of bottled water. So I read a lot of reviews about this system, I choose to go with APEC. It is a high quality system, also made in the USA. I have installed this underneath my sink and in my refrigerator, my drinking water tastes so much better. It has took me a couple of months because I wanted to see first how it works in my house. If you want to buy this system, I highly recommend this.

This system works well in our low water pressure house. It greatly improved the taste of my water. The quality of the city water and well water declined significantly, my dishwasher filter needs to be cleaned weekly before I installed this system. I am happy with this purchase.

I installed the APEC water system in my basement below the kitchen sink. Went in very well with good instructions. Works fine. My well is low on water pressure so the non electric pump is a great help.

This product is the best of the best. Apec Customer service is outstanding. This is the second unit that I bought and the first is still running strong!! Way to go Made in The USA!!

I am certainly no plumbing expert, but the installation instructions were easy to follow. I got the whole system running within a half a day. We live in Los Angeles, and the water quality after installation was night and day better with this system.

I've been using it for about a month now. The pump makes the waste water minimal and less time to refill the tank.It takes about one hour to fill a full tank. My estimation is about 3 gallons of waste water for every 1 gallon of filtered water. The installation was fairly easy. I did it myself with no problem. My tap water TDS reading is about 250, and the filtered water is below 20. The waste water TDS reading is above 300. I am very happy with the results. The only problem I had was after not using it for a few days, the TDS reading of filtered water increased to about 70. I solved the problem by empty the tank of “old water” and refill it with freshly made “newer water”.

Product was easy to install. Water tastes great. This model generates water quickly. My office is very happy with the result and I would recommend the APEC Water RO system to anyone looking for better water for their home or office.

According to the reviews (on this site and others), this was the best product for people with low water pressure due to wells. However after running the water through the tanks four times in 3 days and calling their customer service, I was still getting worse water out of it than the well water in my tap! I returned it without issue to my local Home Depot store and bought a ZeroWater pitcher for a tenth of the price. Much happier with that purchase!

I have owned 2 reverse osmosis systems in the past. Neither of them had enough pressure to feed my refrigerator ice maker, which is fairly far away from the kitchen sink, where the system is installed. This APEC unit not only refills the drinking water tank quickly, but has more than enough pressure to feed the line going to my refrigerator for the ice maker. It is a powerful unit and we simply love it! I is one of the best buying decisions I have ever made!

Purchased this product after a lot of researching. It provided me with high RO filtration with the bonus low water pressure boost. Installation took all of 30-45 minutes, and that included routing a water line to the fridge. Water is fantastic! The system operates just as promised. The housing is very solid and you can tell it is meant to last. Very good buy that anyone can install with some standard hand tools you probably already have in the garage. Plan on buying a second unit for the rental property. HIGHLY recommend this for anyone who need a quick and high quality filtration system.

It was very easy to install, just read the instruction manual and follow the step while you install this system. It’s good to know where each hose will be located first so you can have an idea where to put the parts and tanks before actually installing the system. The system works great and the pressure is fantastic.It is very efficient at removing TDS.(From 343 to 12 PPM)

I have had my system installed long enough to need to change the RO filter for the first time, and continue to be very pleased with the quality of the water. I installed my system in the basement and split the output to feed both my kitchen sink, and my ice maker. It makes marvelous ice cubes that are crystal clear. It also makes it very easy to access when changing filters. You will enjoy this system once you put it in.

I had researched RO units for a while before I decided on this unit. I was glad to see somethings are still manufactured in the good ol' USA. I just wish it was available in the brick and mortar store instead of just on line. I purchased the unit with the extra water powered pump because being on a well pump the water pressure is not as high as most city water systems. I installed it myself in the basement since I new the pump would make some noise. Although, all you here is a clicking noise as it turns on and off while making RO water. I purchased 50' of extra tubing and a push together T. This allowed me to tie into the new sink faucet and the ice maker. The hardest part of the installation was working around all of the existing plumbing, disposal, and wiring under the sink to install the single faucet. My sink already had an extra hole for this faucet, but it is larger than what you would drill so there was some issues with getting it centered in the hole while trying to tighten it. You will need someone on the top side of the sink to hold it in place during this operation. I was really surprised to find out my coffee, prior to using RO waster, had been so bitter. What a difference the unit makes in the taste. At my age of 64, I now have high blood pressure and I bought the unit to eliminate any salt residue from our water softener. I could see this in the ice maker/water dispenser tray from the frig. I no longer have this issue and I am sure my ice maker will last longer also. Hopefully, I will too! Great Unit so far.

I love this system since my home has low water pressure. I am glad I bought it. It did increase the delivery pressure at faucet and it fills the tank really fast. Also it does not need electricity to run. I love it. PS: It was very easy to install and water taste is the best.
