Easy to use with contractor's glue. I am getting more to do chair rails. I also painted it, I used it over my windows.

I ordered ten pieces of this light weight crown moulding for my living room. Each piece is eight feet long. The 45 degree corner cuts came out clean. I placed the moulding in the miter saw just like it would be mounted on the wall, so the teeth of the saw blade moved from the front side to the back of the molding when cutting. This crown molding is made of a plastic like material, so it left rolled over plastic chuncks on the back edge. These were easily broken off by pushing on them with my finger nail. Since the crown moulding is light weight, I used Lock Tite Power Grab to glue the crown molding to the ceiling and wall. Lock Tite Power Grab is an adhesive caulk, so when you press the molding firmly to the wall and ceiling the excess caulk gets squeezed out. Wipe off the excess caulk and the job is done. No nails or screws required. Also no nail holes to fill and sand. The first advantage to this product is it is light weight which makes it easy to handle and put up. The second advantage is it does not shrink like wood. During winter when the house heater is running, there is little moisture in the air. This causes moisture to be drawn out of wood molding causing it to shrink. In Winter, the joints of all wood trim around my windows opens up and shows a crack at all corner joints. This polystyrene molding does not absorb or release moisture, so it will not shrink.

Light weight, easy to cut, easy install. I will be buying more of this for my living room ceiling.
