Less than a year after installation, the connection between the supply hose to the handle developed a leak. There appear to be no serviceable threads connecting those pieces & after living with a taped fix for some time, the leak is now constant under pressure that will leak into the cabinets below unless the handle is pulled out. I paid much more than the current HD price now so it's disappointing. Sent a message to CS on the American Standard website (and received a confirmation that it had been received) but no response yet.

Easy to do and looks nice. Would’ve rather got a more expensive one, but I rent and I will not be taking it with me. Cute as can be though.

Picked up a few chrome ones for a good price. Installed one right away and kept 2 in stock for our rentals. These do come with long supply lines, so that saves you $15 or so. It'll fit a 3/8th water shut off valve coming out of your wall. If you have 1/2 inch, you'll need an adapter, found at some home depots or at a specialty plumbing store. It also comes with a deck plate, which saves you another $20-30. I have to use it since all our apartments have 3 hole sinks. If you have one, don't use the deck plate. It'll give it a cleaner look. The chrome does stain a lot better than brushed nickel but for the price, I'm good with it. Some may think the flow/spray is a little weak but there are regulations they have to abide to. I think it does kind of look like a large bathroom faucet more than a kitchen faucet but it's ok.

But it's bigger than I was looking for.

It would have been quite useful if the flange that was meant to screw on to the faucet base ACTUALLY WAS THREADED! I wasted an entire weekend fiddling with this mess and went without kitchen sink water the whole time as I'd already removed on old faucet thinking (foolish me!!) that I'd receive the CORRECT parts!?!? VERY unsatisfied with American Standard.

Purchased on the 17 August 2019 replace my old moen fixture was not hard to install the supply hoses were long enough to hookup to angle stops with out having to buy extra braided hoses instructions were easy to understand i also replace the dishwasher and garbage disposal after 15 years it was time just hope the new ones do or longer

It looks great and it was very easy to install.

After one week the aerator fell off. I pushed it in but it kept falling when the water was on Now I got water splashing all over the sink

I was so happy with this Faucet although a friend put it in he seemed to have no problems.I love the sleek design and the Chrome ,I am totally happy with it .really is beautiful in my kitchen and works with ease ,great sprayer I totally recommend this product. Not knowing anything about Faucets when I went to buy this so glad it caught My eye its a 10

A good looking single handle kitchen faucet. My first impressions when opening the box of Chatfield kitchen faucet and holding it was how heavy it was. The bottom portion of the fixture is very high quality and well made! My only disappointment is the pull-out sprayer portion is made of a matching chrome plastic. The sprayer does fits nicely and was easy to pull out and place back in handle. The chrome finish is excellent, but finger prints do show easily. Overall, this is a good kitchen faucet with pull-out sprayer and a great value.

Mixed feelings about this faucet.... It looks like a bathroom faucet as it is so low and the handle is very bathroom like. I do like different and what might be cool about this faucet is it is not to high, so it may spray less all over the kitchen. It is not a high quality expensive faucet, but it looks nice and will do a great job for a number of years, if you are on a budget. Drip free, ceramic disk , life time warranty makes this a great buy for the budget conscious.

faucet was surprising at how solid it feels and the finish. i would say its made out of solid metal of sorts. bright chrome finish should be easy to maintain and keep looking nice. i really like the smaller spray head, some are to big for my liking. in the box there is included a plate to cover a three hole sink if your sink has that. supply lines are very nice flexible braided hose. very nice. cant go wrong with this one.

This kitchen faucet could have been installed in a single-hole kitchen sink. However an included chrome base plate covers the two other holes found in most sinks. A sink with four holes will require either a separate cover, or a new sink. A faucet setup with a separate sprayer on a hose is no longer needed (and many start to drip after a few years anyway). How the water exits the faucet is determined by a switch on the underside of the removable head. The hose retracts back into the fixed part of the unit. This is accomplished by attaching an included weight to the hose. Loosen two screws on the weight and slide if adjustment is needed. Because the nozzle is plastic, I rate it a good quality item.

This review is on the American Standard Chatfield Single-Handle Pull-Out Sprayer in Stainless. I have never been let down by American Standard before and I doubt I will with this faucet. It's another well made product. It's not fancy - It's not fancy at all - it's absolutely basic in design. But that adds to its functionality, practicality and it's beauty. It's perfect for your kitchen or if you own any rental units, have an in-law suite or a second kitchen downstairs like I have (that's where I installed it). No leaks, easy to install and the pull-out sprayer is top notch. For the price you'd be hard pressed to find a better value or better faucet. Thumbs up.

You know it will be a well thought out affair, when the item is packed well. This faucet came exceedingly well packed. It is a interesting faucet, the base plate is metal, along with the body of the faucet, what is odd, is that the pull out faucet nozzle is plastic. The instructions, are well executed, plain, and very well detailed. I do want to "NOTE" that make sure the on off handle is aligned with nozzle housing. Done as such, the final assembly will be eazzy pezzy, and the function of the final assembly will render optimal functionality. The bulbous nozzle grows on you, and adds girth. The chrome is better than most I've seen. It is a good looking nozzle with great spray and common flow. What would of been and added bonus is if the female fittings where not fixed, and spun freely.

We have had the replacement handle for this faucet for several years but it keeps leaking and now the darn thing broke.

This faucet looks good but has a major flaw. Where the hose meets the pull out handle, there is a connection that doesn't appear to be threaded and has started to separate enough that water is leaking. The two components can be pushed back together to form a tighter seal but inevitably it will begin leaking again.

Purchased this about three years ago. Flow began to diminish and followed owners manual directions for repair. First problem was the removal of the Escutcheon Cap. It would not unscrew from the valve body without undo force damaging the finish. Then found all the seals throughout the facet to be disintegrating clogging the flow.

I would not call this a fancy faucet. It is an upgrade from a contractor fixture for sure. The pull down spray feature is nice. My biggest issue is that this faucet isnt a high arc style. So it is difficult fitting a big pot under it. However you can always pull the sprayer out and use it for large pots. The finish on this faucet is stainless steel which is an excellent choice if being installed on a stainless steel sink.

This does not last. It just simply stopped working.

Pretty good faucet! The piece that comes out feels very plastic but overall it looks great and feels sturdy. Easy to wipe clean. The whole faucet itself rotates which we needed. Pretty good name brand, budget friendly faucet.

The handle on the faucet seems to stick, and is a little difficult to turn.

Unfortunately there was a problem with the faucet unable to turn to the left so I was sent a part that was suppose to fix this & it didn’t. The faucet clearly had been repackaged to sell again by looking on the inside of the handle ! Great customer service on being sent another faucet but it’s doing the same thing. Once I get a working kit he faucet I will review again.

After installation the cold water feed blew a hole. Returned it. Ordered same model and the same thing happened. Very poor product.

The faucet works great, looks great and we love the features. Except the handle developed a leak within weeks of installation and went unnoticed for some time causing damage to the cupboard. The handle is not serviceable and must be replaced with the handle. We purchased the unit 100 days ago and had a licensed plumber install it 70 days ago. Now we must purchase another faucet and suffer the expense of repair to the cupboard and the plumber a second time. Disappointed in the quality of this product.
