Awesome product
Great way to have the function of a fan without the typically ugly white plastic fan you see in most bathrooms. We installed this in our luxury marble shower and it has clean lines and functions well. It's very quiet and the light is perfect to light the shower. Easy to install. Thinking of buying a second one for the separate water closet. Would highly recommend.

    great fit
love that I can match these with the can lights throughout the house that I already have. Purchased two and now back for another for a different bathroom to continue the flow. There was a fan that was just needing to be replaced and I felt that this was a great option and illusion :)

      Great fan. Very quiet.
Contractors installed this fan light combo fairly easily. The fan is pretty quiet and works great. Bought the daylight bulb and the recessed light is bright. The design looks like its just a recessed light and you can't tell it's a fan until you flip the switch. Had it wired so one switch is for the light, the other for the fan. Bought two and I'm glad I did.

      A quiet exhaust fan
My contractor has just installed it last week. This exhaust fan is really good, it is quiet, and works great for my bathroom (about 70 sq feet). I used it to replace the original ceiling light in the bathroom, but since it is a recessed light, it is not as bright as the regular ceiling light. I have a little bit regret that I haven't asked my contractor to install 1 extra recessed light in the ceiling. However, I used a large CFL light bulb (equal to 150w) has solved my problem.

      So far so good
I purchased this for a bathroom renovation that didn't have a fan or adequate lighting. This was installed directly over the shower/tub with no difficulty. Provides the needed extra light and is very quiet (half the noise of any other fan I've installed). Can't even tell it is a fan by looking. Not sure how well it pulls moisture out yet because the project isn't finished.

        Looks nice!
Looks a lot nicer than those big plastic exhaust fans. Was just installed so can't say if it works but it is louder than I expected.

        Nice design
Goes in fairly easy. Adjusts easily between joists. Nice low profile, and blends in well with other recessed lighting.

        Modern and Quiet Bathroom Fan
I love love love this bathroom fan/recessed light. We installed it in our guest bathroom since we were a little short of ceiling space due to where the shower and toilet were located in the room. It's so quiet, you can barely hear it when it's on. I really wished I had put it in our master bath remodel that we recently finished. I was pleased that the design allows for the fan and light to be turned on independently of one another. And can I just say how cool it is to walk into a bathroom and not have an ugly bathroom fan grill in your ceiling?!

Very quite exhaust fan with recessed light
I had bought two of these units for the contractor to install when we did a complete master bathroom remodel last year and the only thing we did wrong was let the electrical company talk us out of using both of them, he talked us into using a regular exhaust fan in the shower ceiling. We should have stuck with two of these units as they are so much better looking than the cheap looking plastic covers that came with the one like he installed. He installed one in the toilet room, very quite and looks much better also.

        Perfect fit
Placed this where I had a recessed can light. Fit perfect. U can't tell there is a fan in the bath. It is relatively quiet - but not silent. Does the job in a small bath/shower - less than 70 sq. ft. No steam on the mirror or moisture on the walls when I get out of the shower.

        Clean looking quiet fan
I just installed this in our bathroom and it is very quiet and has a very clean look. Those who have noise issues likely have an unbalanced fan or didn't install it in the best manner. You need to crimp the side brackets after after attaching it to the studs to keep the brackets from rattling. Also you need to space it 1/8" above the drywall to keep the sound from transmitting through the drywall. These are both in the instructions. I was concerned about the damper not staying closed, like others have stated, until I realized you need to install it in correct direction (which is NOT in the instructions.) The weighted side (with the extra "towers" of plastic sticking out) must be toward the bottom.

        Quiet Ceiling Exhaust Fan
The fan was simple to install, is very quiet at 1.5 sones and the recessed light looks nice. Currently, the light bulb vibrates slightly while the fan is running and I hope that once the ceiling drywall is installed that will eliminate the vibration.

          Quiet, Bright Light, Easy Installation
Does a great job keeping the humidity down in a reasonable sized bathroom (about 85% the square footage its rated for) and prevents mirror fogging for the most part. The fan is very quiet and barely heard over running water. Installation was easy. This was placed over a shower/tub so a GFCI circuit breaker was installed as well.

          Fan door does not close
had such good reviews, but fan door does not close, so air can flow freely between attic and shower...which will make it hot in the summer and cold in the winter. My contractor is trying to jerry-rig a solution, as don't want to pay for an electrician to come back and reinstall...and cut hole in ceiling, etc.

          Good Product
Good product, works well, is quiet and bright. Install was straightforward. Could have used some better instructions for installing in an existing bathroom however. The printed instructions and company phone reps seemed experienced with installing the fan before drywall was installed-IE new construction. I have to imagine that most of the purchasers of this light/fan were installing in an existing bathroom. Things like a template to cut the hole in the drywall would have helped. You can measure and estimate the opening and there is a flange on the light housing that allows for error room but a little more consideration from the manufacturer on an existing bathroom installation would have been nice. Overall, very satisfied.

Really nice dual purpose light and fan
I did not do the installation as we were getting our bathroom redone. But our contractor made a nice frame in the ceiling for the fan to be mounted. since we put it inline with 2 sets or electrical outlets in the dual bathroom we had to figure out which side had the benefit of the GF interrupter already. That is a bonus. The unit looks really nice now the bathroom is completed. The fan is much quieter than I expected - you can barely hear it. The only downside is the cost of the light bulb which was around $20.

          Works great!
I installed these in both my bathrooms above the shower and tub. The fan is so quiet, i can hardly tell it is on. The light is plenty bright as well and lasts forever with a 75 watt PAR 30 L bulb.
