Unit is quiet and works well. Watch some YouTube installation videos before doing it. I wish I had for a inside the room installation.

We bought a new home and the Braun fan in the bathroom kept blowing in cold air. We have removed the fan to find the inner damper blown off of the track. This keeps happening on windy days and I do not know how to fix the problem.

Good fan. Quiet. Replaced a contractor grade fan.Be ready.... Replacing an existing fan from only the room side was do able, but prepping the existing fan's location required patience, planning, blocking, gloves and trimming. It turned out good, but it could have gone south.

It is quiet and suits our needs for removing moisture from the bathroom.

Installed 2 units. Excellent fan at about $50. Must bend mounting tabs back for old work, I used fender washers under the mounting screws for additional support. Very quiet. Unit with longer run to roof vent slightly louder than unit with shorter run.

The first unit I received was damaged in shipping, but Home Depot re-ordered and the second item was fine.The fan is well designed, easily adaptable, and straight forward to install.Moves an adequate amount of air, and is nice and quiet!

I had it installed a month ago by a professional, its used daily, its very quite and it works very well.

It's a really quality fan that surprised me how quiet it is. It's equivalent to a fan at twice the money. I don't understand why HD don't stock this in their stores instead of having to special order. Well worth it. Works out great for a remodel or new construction.

overall, i'm very satisfied with this fan. the "new damper" technology, however, leaves something to be desired. i tested it before completing the install and found that it was not balanced properly to close when the fan is off. it stayed in a half-open position. i balanced it by taping a penny to the bottom of the damper flap and testing it several times to make sure it closed. this solved the problem. installation was easy- i was replacing an old unit so electricity was already at the location. the mounting is simple and secure.

It was professionally installed, so I can't attest to the ease or difficulty of installation. I can tell you it is very quiet. The old exhaust fan sounded like you were in the middle of a wind tunnel. This one is barely detectable! Plus, Home Depot really tries to keep its customers happy. This went on sale after we purchased it, and HD gave us a credit and matched the sale price. Win, win...

Bought this during a bathroom remodel to replace an old noisy fan. This fan was easy to install, works great, and is very quiet. Great fan for a great price.

Quiet fan. Squirrel cage motor which easily removes steam out of a average bathroom. Easy install. Priced right. Don't spend more on a fan this one works well and priced right.

I used this fan to replace an existing one in our master bathroom. I installed this myself and the instructions on the installation in existing construction were great. It has been in our bathroom now for 3 weeks and we love it. It is whisper quiet, we cannot believe the amazing difference between our old one and this one. It does a great job removing moist and foul air. The only downside is I wish I had installed this fan sooner. Home Depot is also doing a great job at keeping their prices competitive with other online retailers.

just the model I needed

The fan works very well and is as quiet as I was looking for when doing my research. Only issue is a design defect, the flapper on the exhaust tube flaps almost constantly. It is in the same irritation as dripping water. I'm trying to figure out a way to keep the flapper down except for when the fan is on. The flapper is the only reason I dropped the rating to Good, it would have been Excellent.

Bought this for our utility room because of the heat from the gas dryer. It was easy to install, looks good, and most of all removes most of the heat. Just what we needed.
