Not worth $200 to me, maybe $79 but not $200. The lights are pretty but the speaker is not loud enough. Save your money and just bring a speaker in the bathroom

my husband purchased it last week and we are so glad it is our new addition our upgraded home.

It works great, looks great and I also love all the different colors.

This product is fantastic! The install was what I would consider intermediate in difficulty. But with minor understanding of electrical you are set! I will say the light switch that comes with the vent was a curveball at first. I did not realize it was battery powered (which is why I had to reroute some electrical wires where my existing light switches were. But other than that, the install was fairly easy and the instructions were clear. The vent is not too loud and when you play music the vent sound is nonexistent. The app controls all functions of the vent as well when connected to your phone. Super fun and definitely worth the money.

I just bought this fan. The lights change color properly. The fan works great, but I cannot connect the speaker… their offices are closed, but I’m gonna call in the morning. Super frustrating!!

I have not used it yet but it looks quite pretty. I’m not sure what functionalities it has bc I bought it bc it has diff colors.

I'm not one to mess with anything electric low/high voltage. Now with that said, this was pretty easy to install with no need to access attic. Good volume, multitude of color options. Though I'm not sure there is an option to control this via smart home devices.

The wiring harness on the first unit that I purchased was incorrect and burnt out the internals and no longer worked. I reached out to the manufacturer and they didn’t seem to care. The second unit that I purchased had the correct wiring harness and works as it should.

I have had this installed for half a day and already want to return it. First we had to make the whole bigger, after installing realized the control is battery operated and if you put in into the wall, you have to remove it every time you need to change the batteries. Second the fan is very cheap looking for $250. The wholes in the top are so big, you can see up the hose. Not classy looking at all. I might take it back tomorrow. Very disappointed!!

Install was easy. The LED light is bright enough (lots of colors - a tad gimmicky IMO) and the fan has decent power without being obnoxiously loud. Love the speaker - no need to have a device sitting on the counter being an eye sore & no more carrying a speaker around. Sound quality is not that of a premium sound system; seeing that it’s for a bathroom and not for parties it’s plenty good enough. Not a “fan” of the remote because it basically rendered my wall switch useless. Overpriced for sure

The install is tedious and can be very challenging. Some holes are not predrilled and the template does not have the valve or anchor points in it so you have to guess. The two-prong fan outlet that came with the device was defective. It's just shoddy workmanship and poor in quality. I recommend you use the one that's in the unit you are replacing and remove the one include. Once that's resolve I was able to get power to the fan. After the light install and bluetooth setup was easy. I also wish it had routines. Like night light routine after 11 pm and sunrise at 6 am where the light is not do bright.

I just bought this fan but will return it tomorrow after reading Dave43’s review. The only thing the box says about the switch is “Wireless Wall Control Pairs with Ventilation Fan in Seconds,” which leaves the buyer confused as to whether the switch gets its power from the wall but pairs to the fan via Bluetooth, or if the controller is battery operated. Turns out it’s battery operated. I’m not wasting my shower time replacing batteries. Glad I haven’t installed this, yet.

Pros: -Great Exhaust Fan - Quieter than the one I replaced and takes more of the moisture out of the air during a shower. -Great Light - Bright & adjustable -Good Speaker - Not theatre quality- but sound is clean and gets loud enough to hear over a running shower Cons: -NOT a typical exhaust install. It requires constant power, so you have to hardwire it and replace the switch with the included remote. -NOT ideal for connecting to phones. Use a dedicated device like iPad, Google, Alexa, etc

After the really long and exhausting setup because the only way to use the actual light or fan is to take out your wall light switch and deal with that part of the electrical work and use the insanely aggravating in wall remote that comes with the unit. Overall, everything works fine, just not ideal. It should have come with a remote to use in conjunction with a regular home wall light switch. I definitely wouldn't recommend it. For those who don't care, the fan is strong and very quiet. The different color lights look good, and the speaker is very loud when connected. just not a practical device or not a well thought out unit.

Even after reading the reviews I decided to give it a go and see how it performs. I’d say the most difficult was just trying to remove the old fan but after that it was simple. Once I cleaned up all the mess I made it was like a party in my bathroom.

This Broan bath fan is awesome!!! Only electrical wiring required is to the fan as the switch is battery operated. Love the fan so much I bought 2 more for my other bathrooms!

I was a little hesitant after reading some of the reviews on this fan, but I want to say that most of the concerns are based off of misinformation or misunderstandings it would appear. First off the fan works great and is quiet. The speaker sounds great and gets really loud at max volume without distortion so I'm pretty impressed on that feature as well.Now to address some of the concerns. The remote does affix to an electrical box on your wall via screws, but to access the batteries you just pop off the face to replace with 2 double A batteries. The quick start guide is right on top of the fan when you open the box and clearly states that you need to hold down the white light button for 5 seconds total within 3 minutes of turning on the breaker.I'm glad I'm a technician and not an engineer or else I may have just discarded this product without actually attempting to learn something by actually reading the manual and looking at the physical product in person.

First time I install this fan didn’t make the pairing successfully I will digest everyone to double check the home wiring seem to be the problem after we fix that the fam was super easy to pair also to the company I will suggests to make clear instruction on how to pair this and make the remote no battery operate

This thing has been nothing but a headache since the first attempt at installation. My contractor installed it and could not get the wall switch to connect to the fan. This is because the wall switch uses batteries and doesn’t directly connect. Why, just why?!?! Now, if the batteries die, I have to remove the entire switch just to change the batteries. If you still decide to purchase it, put batteries in the wall switch within 3 minutes of connecting the fan power. We also had to put the switch very close to the fan and hold down one of the buttons until it connected. Boy, was it a celebration when it finally connected. The next issue, in order to connect to the Bluetooth, the previous person that used it has to disconnect. So, if they forget, you can’t connect. You might one day find yourself ready to shower, thinking “oh, let me put on some music” to then realize, you can’t connect! After trying to call out to your husband with no answer, you end up running half naked through the house to your husband who sleeping on the couch just to grab his phone and turn off his Bluetooth. I mean, it is shave and deep conditioning day, wouldn’t it be better with music?! Especially when you paid $200 for a fan just because it had that feature. Now, suddenly the Bluetooth on this $200 fan doesn’t even show up. I can’t connect on any device. I’ve only had this thing less than a week. It’s a poorly constructed piece of trash.

The fan and light work fine but I cannot connect to the speaker or Bluetooth. My teenagers have tried. I’ve watched YouTube videos, read the instructions, flipped the breaker…

This install was pretty easy, and the speaker is nice. The only issue is that ANYONE can connect to it. It's not password protected and someone in our neighborhood keeps connecting to it. Once they are connected, we cannot connect to it and have to completely unplug the whole thing. It's pretty irritating. Customer service said they can't do anything about it. SHORT ANSWER: It's bluetooth connecting, and anyone can connect to it since it's not password protected.

speaker is not loud.. it always default back to warm light every time i turn the switch on.. it has a seperate switich for it self..just read the reviews and u will already see that this is not worth it..

I like the unit, so much so that we have 2, one in our daughter's bathroom and one in our master. These are not quiet fans, however, the lights and speaker make up for that. For about a week we could not connect to the speaker then I found a youtube video that directed me to switch the breaker off and back on and that solved the issue. it is strange that there are no reset buttons.
