[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a must have in my home, I know I’m not the only one who forget their clothes in the dryer and then they are wrinkled. The iron comes in handy with the steamer that’s built into it. It’s my first time ever using one, but wasn’t hard to learn how to use it. Comes with instructions on how to use and clean the chi iron. It’s got a retractable cord so you don’t have to fuss with the cord!! My husband is always telling me to iron his clothes or the kids so glad I got this one. I use it on a weekly basis, it works great!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the overall look of this iron it is nicely designed the colors are attractive red, grey, gold and silver it really looks premium. I recommend reading carefully the manual before using. I love the length of the cord and the fact that it is retractable . The steam fonction work like a charm the iron heat up pretty fast. my favorite features are the auto shutoff and the self cleaning. When placing the iron on the side on soleplate or on heel it will shutoff automatically after 60 or 30 seconds depending of the position. the self cleaning feature cleans the steam holes I love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay, seriously..who truly likes to iron?? Between the awkward unit to the cord getting in the way, not being able to get around buttons good. However, this iron truly changed my outlook on ironing. I just whizzed thru 4 button up men's dress shirts that were on the ironing board for well over a couple months because I dread to iron. But not only did the Chi make it so easy, it handled fantastic. The end of the iron is pointed enough that doing around corners if the shirts and buttons was so easy. I love the weight if this iron because it makes it literally so easy. The iron does the job. I don't have to continuously go over an area. So many settings, from cotton to linen, polyester. The retractable cord is awesome. The oress if a button similar to a tape measure, and the cord goes back inside. It stuck a little but nothing bad. I cannot find an off button on the iron..I have looked and will go over settings again maybe I overlooked it. But right now I don't see one. So make sure you definitely unplug unit when finished.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The iron itself is made of high quality, dense, rather heavy, but for me it's good, I like heavier irons, for me it is as if they iron better. Looks stylish, in silver-black-red colors, gold-colored outsole, really like it. It is also not difficult to control it, on the main panel using the dial, the desired mode is selected, there are buttons for steam and water, I like long 8 ft retractable cord, it is dense and durable. Due to decent power, it heats up very quickly, literally in a matter of seconds, so there is no need to stand and wait. Also, thanks to its power, it has excellent steam generation and not only that, there is also the so-called "steam boost" - this is when the steam supply rate increases for a very short time. Press the button, the iron is activated and here you are, a difficult fold or overdried cotton linen is smoothed out. It is very convenient, in general I am so accustomed to steam irons that I can no longer imagine how it is possible to iron the same bed linen without steam. I'm super happy with my new iron))

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This iron is all that it cracked up to be! It's gorgeous for one, secondly it has a retractable cord that means less work for you! And lastly a ceramic plate that makes it glide smoothly over the clothes and gets all the wrinkles out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used Chi hair styling tools, so when I saw Chi iron, I immidiately felt that I could trust the quality, because I've had all great experiances with the brand before. I love this iron so much, I couldn't stop ironing my blouses, and I almost never iron anymore, this just made me want to do it! The iron is on a heavier side, but I like that in irons, because it presses and dispenses the heat better that way, stylish, user friendly and very functional. There are a bunch of settings on temperature, which are vewry useful, as I love ironing silk a lot and I have to be gentle. Overall I'm pleased with the new iron and hope it lasts ages, as I'm quite happy with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very pleased with this iron it is everything I was hoping for and more, the iron is very easy to use. It heats up fast and smooths out wrinkles in minutes. It has a pointed tip that makes it easy to get to small areas. The iron is not light but not heavy either; it's just the perfect weight to get wrinkles out and it runs very smoothly. I used 50% tap water and 50% distilled water for steaming; I also empty the iron when I am finished using it. I like the retractable cord a lot. I highly recommend this iron!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had plenty of experience with CHI's hair straighteners but this is my first experience using their steam iron line. I have to say one of my favorite parts is the retractable cord - honestly I think all products should have retractable cords! One of the first things we noticed while ironing is the volume of steam this produces - quite a lot! The iron so far has glided over all the clothes we have put under it. It is *slightly* heavier than irons we have had in the past but I assume that is because of the heat plate. I do have small hands so this takes a bit of maneuvering to handle but it works out in the end. Pretty smooth and sturdy so far.

The cord is very long plus it automatically retracts...love this feature! This iron has a wide variety of settings which are easy to adjust too. The ceramic soleplate heats up evenly and gets all the wrinkles out of my clothes. I am very impressed with how well this iron works. Highly Recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, the sleek design and red and black color make this the most attractive iron I’ve seen thus far. The fact that it heats up quickly and irons sharp creases to perfection without having to spend too much time in one area, makes it efficient. You can iron more in less time. The steam setting is sooo cool! I took brand new curtains out of the packaging and hung them up. They had a bunch of creases from being in the packaging for so long. I put the iron in front of it and pressed the steam button and in no time there were no more creases! Just amazing. It’s my new favorite thing! I love it and recommend it.

Great iron, really gets out wrinkles!

High quality easy to use

I purchased the iron in July, 2023 and returned it within a week due to failure of retractible cord. It was replaced without any issues by Home Depot. I use it and am very careful with the cord retraction as it is tricky. The iron is now eight months old, looks beautiful but the cord is again not working. Half of the cord will not release and as I stated I am very careful when retracting and releasing the cord, carefully following manufacture instructions. I will be contacting the company to hopefully resolve this matter. I will update these comments with the resolve of this issue. Except for the cord problem I will say that I really like the quality and use the iron.

Great steam. No automatic cut off device.

I LOVE this iron, it cut my ironing time by half compared to my old iron. The steam on this iron is excellent (watch your fingers). I read other reviews saying it’s heavy and yes a little more then older irons but it’s worth it, with one pass your clothes are wrinkle free!!! And don’t forget about the retractable cord one button and it’s out of the way. I’ve had this iron a month and iron about five hours a week (lots of uniforms and work clothes) This iron is definitely worth the purchase 100%.

Haven’t had it long enough

This an excellent steam iron! It came packaged very well in excellent care & condition. The instructions were so easy to follow and irons my clothes nicely. I love the steam settings on it where you can choose the amount of steam you want for getting out wrinkles. It’s heavy which I like. I purchased a different iron before this one & well let’s just say you get what you pay for. The cheapest item isn’t always the BEST item. Lesson learned, it’s better to buy anything especially appliances at a higher price because they will last a long time. Great purchase!

This iron didn’t work for me. Because it is retractable, there is a good size storage area at the base of the iron for the cord. That made the shape seem odd to me, and awkward to use. I returned it.

This iron is awesome! everything that I want in an iron. Nice weight, smooth, heats up fast, steams perfect, retractable cord, auto shutoff.... need I ask for more? Just feels good

I tried a lot of the new irons and ended up returning them all. Finally I tried CHI. Beat everything I tried: glides easily, lots of steam and a big soleplate. I bought from HD because it has the best price. Delivery was 3days. Highly recommended.

It's contoured handle feels great in my hand and though it's size is substantial, it isn't bulky or too heavy. The retractable cord is an added bonus, and I love that it releases with the touch of a button instead of pulling on the cord like some retractable cords. The ceramic plate glides smoothly over fabric and the abundance of steam holes makes wrinkles disappear fast. It is really attractive as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to try my new Hamilton Beach CHI Retractable Cord Iron. It is actually quite beautiful (yes, my new iron is beautiful! LOL, although it is much larger than I expected, and a bit heavy. It works great, and has a fabulous safety feature that not only turns the iron off when it is idle, but also gives you a warning sound as well. I also love the retractable cord feature.
