I've had this compressor for about three months now. In that time I have used it to frame an attic addition, build 100' of cedar fence, and have cleaned up a few dirty engines with compressed air. I've been really impressed with how quiet it is. The weight of the unit is about at the limit of what I can carry. So far, no problems running framing nailers and finish nailers. I've also tried it with a rotary palm sander with success.

I cannot recommend this compressor enough. The noise level is unbelievably low, the refresh rate is very quick and it's not as awkward to carry as it looks. I've used this for base/case trim installs, as well as whole ceiling textures. Definitely money well spent. Bye bye pancake compressor...

Installed this in my Garage with a recoil hose and have to say. i am actually shocked at how quite this unit really is. i mean it is absolutely shocking in a closed garage how quite this unit is. Super fast at filling the tank and fits my needs for Garage, Car, Bike use well.

It was a loo heavier than expected but is very quiet & fills quickly.

Extremely quiet home air compressor. I can stand beside it and hold a normal volume conversation. I tried using an pneumatic metal cutting tool and had to keep stopping to let the compressor keep up with the tool. Great for tires. Probably great for nail guns. Very quick recharge of air pressure. If you need a compressor that can run a grinder, sander, or cutting tool continuously, you probably should look at an industrial compressor with 220/240 volt. If you need a small home compressor that won't make you deaf, this is great.

This compressor will not disappoint you. Very quite operating and has plenty of capacity to run your air tools.

Performs very well with 2 nail guns on 100’ hoses and it is so quiet you barely hear it running in the barn!

it arrived in double box packing and there was no damage. this compressor fills up really really fast. its extremely quiet compared to most other compressors i have owned. the vacuum cleaner in my house is louder than this compressor when charging. its kept in my basement and can not be heard from the floor above it. it is kind of heavy if you plan on making it mobile.

Tried to fill 3 tires. It blew a breaker. Then it wouldn't start but just would hum. Let it rest and it worked. Not sure whether this is an isolated incident or what to do to test it out. I would like to keep it if it works.

Super quiet light to move and very quick air build up

Ok I've only unboxed this compressor and ran it a few times. However this compressor will be going through its paces keeping up with 2 professional hardwood floor installers. Most twin stacks cannot keep up with the 4cfm nailers. Un-mechanically inclined people should have to state themselves so I will know not to trust their review. This compressor is SOLID! AND AMERICAN MADE! You read reviews that the faceplate has flex at the manifold where you plug in and that you will have to support it by hand or add plumbers tape but in reality yes it has some flex However I don't see this as a problem or as a future problem as its ok if it moves a little because their is no stress on any part or connection that will cause failure. The faceplate is bolted therefore it can only flex so much its really a non issue that almost steered me away from buying this gem of a compressor. I was expecting quite, and this compressor still surprised me. It actually is QUITE! Its truly amazing and weird seeing the needle on the tank pressure climb faster than I've seen any compressor with so little noise! Thank you California Air! I will update once I've got some good runtime on this but I have a really good feeling about this compressor. I feel I got a lot of compressor for my buck. If your on the fence just buy it! It is a quality compressor. Im happy with my purchase! Way to go Home depot on tge fast shipping! They should carry this in store,
