[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sprayer is built to last, very solid. It comes with two spray nozzles. The locking mechanism for the pump handle works great, it took me a while to figure this whole thing out but once I did it was fantastic, never going to buy a cheap one again. I also love the solid brass wand and the brass handle. This sprays real nicely and does not get clogged. Really great product and very happy with the performance.

First sprayer was defective. Returned and replaced sprayer has been excellent in applying Foundation Armor sealer.

Solid construction, and excellent pump. Works perfectly! When I first got it I had trouble getting it to seal in the fully locked position, but I called customer service and the lady who answered knew exactly what I was doing wrong. It was an easy fix. The paper instructions that come with the unit could be improved by adding an image, and a few notes about “thread position,” but making a call got the job done. Thanks.

Item arrived damaged, huge crease in side. Poor packaging. Poor support from Home Depot

The item arrived as describe when described and that was just the beginning. I had used a weed sprayer before to apply solvent, and it worked OK, but this thing is great! Plenty of capacity, plenty of even spraying power with a few pumps. Easy to assemble, handle and then clean. I highly recommend this sprayer if you are applying concrete sealant or similar product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice product and works well but a bit on the heavy side. It is hand held a somewhat awkward to hold while trying to spray. I believe a strap to place it over the shoulder would make it easier to maneuver. Overall it is a nice product and works well.

Do not purchase this item! ALERT! Do not purchase this item. I was excited to seal my brand new $10,000 colored stamped concrete slab that wraps around by back yard. 17 yards of concrete. It product started well until I got 1/3 coverage and the spray tip started leaking sealer everywhere. It was a disaster. Just imaging, the liquid sealer was sticky, dripping sealer all over the concrete and it was just a mess. Pressure started to fail and it just ruined my concrete at my expense. 2093216319.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my 3.5yo son who is OBSESSED with all things fire/firefighting. We use this as his fire extinguisher outside and he will spray for hours. It's perfect.

The sprayer functions well. The delivery was 1 day delayed but I was informed about the status in a timely manner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is expensive but for me worth every penny. I might as well load up a buggy with the plastic ones. The plastic ones all clogged after a few uses when I used vinegar, pesticides, or window cleaners. This Chapin has yet to clog, easy to rinse out and not too heavy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband used it right away and said it’s top of the line. It’s sturdy but not too heavy. The spray is pretty even with coverage and flow. I suggest this if it’s something you need.

I was using an acetone based concrete sealer and the pump was working to pressurize the tank. After a couple hours of use I was no longer able to use the pump to add air to the tank. When I emptied the tank I found a round piece of rubber that had fallen off the end of the pump and made the sprayer inoperable. No way to repair this defect with the pump. Glad I bought the sprayer from Home Depot so I could easily return it. Replaced this sprayer a Solo model 388.

Second one I have bought for sealing concrete where the sealer is acetone based. Excellent seal and fewer pumps are needed to maintain pressure in the tank than with cheaper sprayers I own. Wand works perfectly as do the two fan nozzles provided (great for surface applications). Large neck opening makes it easy to pour in sealer from a 5-gallon can. Only drawback is lack of a pressure release valve - OK if not using pesticides or herbicides. Fast shipping and fast delivery.

I bought the sprayer to seal some concrete edging/curb because this is the sprayer the curb guys had. It comes with a .5 gpm and 1.0 gpm tips but I needed a .1 gpm to do the job and not waste sealer…

After spending less on 2 other sprayers that I was told "oh yeah, that'll work just fine and do the job" at the big box stores, and then being so mad & frustrated when the patio & paver sealers clogged up and ruined the cheap spayers and the look of the patio, I bought this 1949 sprayer. The guys at the concrete contracting company they use em every day and they just keep working. Do the right thing and buy your last sprayer FIRST. I've used it now 4 times and it works like new every time. Worth every penny!

Leaked out of trigger assembly, made a big mess and wrecked my paver sealing job.
