Nice product. Great for polishing tractor trailer aluminum wheels.

Sweet tool! No buff to tuff. Diggin it.

This model does not appear to be as robust as the exact same model that I had in the past

Easy to use

How do you clean and wax a 30' sailboat? Well, you can do it on your hands and knees or, as most DIYers advised, don't skimp on a decent polisher/buffer. I have completed about 1/3 of the work and can't imagine doing all that by hand. Nice quality and a good price.

Compares very favorably to the Snap-On I used in a professional autobody/detailing job. Plenty of power. Excellent results when combined with 3M compounds and foam pads.

Pros: It is THE professional auto buffer. This newer DWP model quieter and smoother than the older DW I've been using. Brushes are easy to find and replace when they go out. It also doubles as a grinder. Cons: Out of the box it only comes with a rubber backing plate for a grinder wheel. A standard Velcro style plate for stick on pads, or the 3M quick release that I use for double sided pads are sold separately from an auto paint supply store or elsewhere. If it wasn't for that, I'd rate it at 5 stars. Overall: Some prefer the soft start model and others dont, but they're both great. I just squeeze the trigger slowly until it gets up to speed. This buffer will last, unlike the one available at the widely known discount tool store. I do recommend it.

This polisher worked very well, it was light and powerful. I liked that the speed was easy to control with the variable control.

Works as advertised, variable speed, torque, all is good. Disk is 7/9" and compatible with most all buffer accessories

Great piece of equipment

I LOVE THIS BUFFER! I'VE USED 3 DIFFERENT BRANDS AND I ALWAYS END UP BACK WITH DEWALT.

Great variable machine. It does NOT come with a hook and loop pad. Plan accordingly. Way lighter than the black and decker.
