For safety I unplug the saw between uses. For such a powerful tool some sort of trigger guard or other such device should be standard. Otherwise it is a very useful tool. A

I returned a battery operated Ryobi and its battery broke. I chose the corded Dewalt for my remodeling project. The power difference and quality was quite evident! I should have picked Dewalt to begin with!

Seems like an excellent tool so far. Haven't had it long enough to speak on durability. I am very much enjoying the toolless blade changes and ability to put blade in in any direction. Great design and function.

Purchased saw for a quick, small job. This saw gets extremely hot while using it. I had to wear gloves just to finish the job. It’s a little pricy for a cheap saw, but when the store has a limited selection….

Exactly what I needed.

I instantly returned this sawzall after opening up the packaging. All of the tools I own are DeWalt, but I couldn't help to notice that for the same price that I bought this sawzall, Milwaukee Tools was selling an identical sawzall with a longer factory warranty (DeWalt had a 3 year, Milwaukee had a 5 year), better specs, and a carrying case (this product did not) for the same exact price. I returned this item and purchased the competitor's product. I cannot speak for the product itself, but I was not impressed with the product at its price point compared to its competition.
