I love it, to convert 18vt to 20vt its great.

I agree with most reviewers. Excellent quality and battery life. Just one piece of info, its easy to miss the blade tool. There is not a good reference to it but its there on back handle next to battery. Comes with the saw (tool only) but have to look closely.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this saw about a year. It’s been my go to since then. In 99% of applications it works just fine. I’ve used it from light/medium duty framing, trimwork, deck building and just about any situation you need to cut wood. The only issue I’ve had with it was when I went to cut some wet, pressure treated 2x12’s and It struggled. Hypothetically if it was all I had I could get it done but it’d put some serious stress on the saw and go through quite a few batteries. Ergonomically it’s superior to other 6 1/2 inch saws I’ve used. The knobs to change the bevel are nicer than others I’ve used and the brake stops the blade very quickly. I always carry this and 7 1/4 work drive and I reach for this 80% of the time. Does just about anything you ask of it!

Powerful and gets the job done around the house. The batteries are only 2.0ah.

Great price for quality tools. Everything worked perfect, especially love the circular saw, effortless to control and great design as far as grip and access to safety and trigger. Only thing I would change is giving a longer lasting battery for the saw, which I knew before making my purchase... For the price, excellent deal, very satisfied...

Love dewalt products and i couldnt pass up this deal, so thrilled to get battery operated circular saw and two powerful drills for a great price. All three tools put out plenty of power for DIY’er.

Extended the life of my old XRP tools and is setting me up to be able to start buying the newer tools that use the same battery.Tools seem to have more power and last longer This product is a win win.

Does what I need when I need it

After a major bathroom remodel I saw the tools my contractor used for multiple tasks. After using the drill and impact driver for parts of the remodel I did myself I was sold on this package so looked it up and purchased from Home Depot. Lightweight, powerful, well balanced, built in LED lights. Nice case holds both tools, charger, bit sets I bought, and a few more items. Highly recommend

Bought this to replace my 18volt batteries/charger. Works well. I found the reviews saying adapter was hard to get on/off unsubstantiated. I would have preferred a 3 amp battery with this set but I will buy a larger one down the road. Charged quickly and seems to be providing ample power to my 18 volt tools ( Hammer drill DW988,circ saw, rep saw) Glad to be leaving the Ni-cads behind.

Works good it’s a little hard to remove the adapter stem from the tool, so you can move to a different tool. I’m hoping this gets better with wear.

My wife gave me clearance to buy every tool I would need. I’ve always been a fan of DeWalt, so it was an easy choice. I loaded up on DeWalt 20v tools. This saw is tough as nails. I use it for everything including pressure treated 2x12 stair stringers. It is super convenient to be cordless AND powerful. If you are reading this, just buy it. You will not regret it.

The adapter fit perfectly and worked great. The 20 volt battery brought new life to my old tools.

Great idea! I wish I had purchased it a Christmas when it was $50 cheaper. All of my old 18v DeWalt tools now work great again with more power and longer battery life. I had a combination of 18v and 20v and now they all operate from the same 20v battery system.

It’s a battery. Quite honestly I don’t like that the time it lasts per charge isn’t much better than the one the drill set came with. I love dewalt products but I feel they could last longer per charge

I'm a DYI'ER, I have a circular saw that was given to me by my brother, I like that saw, but for smaller projects or places without electricity this saw cuts very lite weight and very powerful. Since receiving this saw I've used it several times. Great fast cutter.

Batteries work great. Actually haven't tried the adatper.

This saw with a diablo blade is simply the best. Lightweight, powerful and makes accurate cuts with ease. The only downside is that it does not come with a battery. The battery life is satisfactory in my opinion.

Dewalt is just a very great tool drill impact!! That’s all we use at work.

This impact and drill helps me to put together at least 30000 bolts as nd nut on this rang 15/16 . To 1/4 on water parks asambleling equipment I have use the dea walt products for more then a 4 years my co workers use this tools to by the way this last one purchase is my se ond pair.true whats here.

Great cordless saw!!...I was ripping through 3/4 mdf with no problem...Fits good in my hand and not too big or heavy...Just make sure you get a big enough battery...I was running it with a 1.3AH and it lasted for about 5 cuts, so get at least a 4.0 AH battery...

Neat kit. Good value and very strong, especially for homeowner that wants better than average stuff. Get what you pay for attitude prevails here. I like the idea the batteries are more interchangeable. I have purchased many other products, so I'm way over the top with this stuff, Vacuum, large blower, hedge trimmer,skill saw, Compound slider, table saw, and wheel carts etc. Big investment, hopefully the last one of this type for a long time. Says there is a three year warranty, I have to delve into this further to see terms and expected coverage down the road. Happy shopping. Here's a pic of Saturday chores. Hedge Trimmer, Blower, and Screw gun at bottom of driveway. Trimmed branches scratching car, cleaned up mess and sand, fixed light.... all in a very short time, no hassle, now cords, no gas, no hoping the equipment will start etc. Nice day! SuretyFred

Great saw, cuts smooth and easy to use! Cut many boards on my Pergola with it no problem!
