Not reliable. Doesn't drive staples hard enough.

I haven't used this much and it started to malfunction, driving two staples instead of one, and the second staple would be terribly crushed. It doesn't have much driving force unless one hand is bucked firmly against the back of the stapler, and even then the 1/2" staple might not be driven deeply enough into soft wood. This was for a simple re-upholstery task that even a spring-powered manual stapler could accomplish. Disappointing. DeWalt usually makes very good power tools.

Waste of money. Staples fold up over half the time even with pressure on top of the gun as directed. Would be worthless if you hoped to use your free hand to hold something in place. Dewalt should do better.

Fails to perform properly.

Purchased the DeWalt DWHT75021 multi-tacker in 2018 in Woodbury, MN HD. Worked fine for the first project on which we used it. Since then, it has only been used a couple of times, but now fails to advance and fire a staple after each trigger pull. Very disappointed in the quality of the tools. My Bostich stapler that is 40+ years old had to be used in place of the new DeWalt stapler!!! last attempted use was 2023/5/9.

It did a lot better than expected. I screened in a large porch and it made short work of it. It took a little bit of learning to get used to the power but I couldn't be happier with the results. I do wish it could shoot a longer brad but I have tools to do that.

I would buy this again.

We had a craftsman electric stapler that constantly got jammed, wouldn't staple flat into the wood, it was aweful. This stapler is so nice, it staples nice and easy. It goes into the wood and the staple lies flat. Very very easy to use. I highly reccomend it.

Many of the staples didn't go into the wood, they bent, or broke off. I tried adjusting the pressure and that didn't really help. I even tried several brands of staples and had similar results.

Not a bad stapler, but does not work with inverter

I have a small off grid property with a solar power system with batteries/inverter. It appears the rush of current needed to fire the stapler cannot be satisfied by a 3500 Watt inverter. It's not a knock against the stapler, just a warning. The stapler appear to be more than adequate if used while on grid power
