Easy to use works great

No really for the price, I returned it.

I love this vacuum. Good suction, the thumper keeps the filters clean much longer than vac's without it, the hose is a good length. It's a small size and manageable in residential houses but not too small that it doesn't have decent holding capacity. The thing that irks me the most is the hose. The hose marks up EVERYTHING. I'm a finish carpenter and remodeler. I can't bring this vacuum anywhere without expecting to have to hunt for black marks after I clear out. White trim, unfinished floors, vanities, tubs, toilets, ANYTHING. It leaves black marks on it. So annoying. And it really makes a bad impression with customers. Also, no attachments come with? Kinda weak for the price of it, if you ask me. Also wish there were an attachment holder of some sort. Overall I still love this vac. Good features and good performance. Some fine tuning still needed.

Great would get another one.

In order to use this product on a Government facility a UL rating is required and the Specifications table should list the CFM's with a regular filter and with a HEPA filter. Its a pain in the tush to have to have 2 sets of vacuums.

Worked great kept dust down

I purchased this dust extractor to pair with other DeWalt tools as part of my business strategy, to be a livable remodeler and RRP compliant. The connection to the tools make this so much easier to use. solid connection that stay connected, This tool has been well received.

We are a General Contractor working on Gov. contracts remodeling in Hospitals etc. and use this vac. Very powerful works great

it's one of the best investments I've made.i've had mine for six months now.its powerful it doesn't tip over it follows you around .I do flooring for a living I grind concrete on the daily basis. worth every penny

Game changer! This dust extractor works! I purchased it along with a Dewalt sander and the dust extractor hose fits perfectly into and locks onto the sander's vacuum bag outlet. The two of them to together mean virtually no dust when sanding. The thump when the filters clean themselves is not annoying at all but rather sounds like a heartbeat. The casters feel solid and work well and the unit is relatively small. The noise level is quieter than I expected.

This is a great shop vac. I was a little apprehensive purchasing after reading some of the reviews about the suction capability. I can tell you it is a non-issue. The vac has great suction. However, I did notice when using some of the bags, if you don't fit them on correctly you will lose suction. Also, you do not need to use the bags. Not a problem if you are not a heavy user. You can use it as a wet vac, However, the filters must be removed to do so. Not a problem removing them. It is lightweight and easy to lift or simply roll around on its wheels. I purchased adapters to my other tools with dust ports. I just used the vac with the Dewalt DWE7490 table saw (adapter is the Dewalt DWV 9140) and it did a great job of sucking up the dust. One of the great features is that you can plug the tool into the vac and the vac only comes on when the tool is in use, and then turns itself off after a few seconds when you turn off tool. The vac comes with the list of adapters that Dewalt makes and corresponding OD and ID sizes. It is important to remember the size when purchasing adapters. Also, remember that most of the adapters are tapered so that it gives you a little leeway in getting the right size. The hose that comes with the vac, Dewalt DWV9316 is long enough so that it stays out of the way and the hose adapter at the end locks onto most all of the Dewalt adapters. There is also a 2-1/2" hose (Dewalt DWV 9314) that you can buy which eliminates buying the adapters for those size dust ports. Although, I noticed that all retailers are sold out of it as of this writing. I also purchased the tool set that goes with the vac. I noticed that only a handful of retailers continue to sell it.

I have the newest make of the 8 gallon model. What ever they did between the first one and the latest one made a huge difference given the poor reviews of the first one. This vac is a must in a small shop without dust collection. It sucked up an entire 6 inch pile of dust under the table saw in no time. I then finished sweeping the rest of the shop without emptying or having to knock dust off the filters to get suction. It comes with a tool hose to run to make it easier to hook up sanders for dust collection.

Shop vac had a much better vacuum for half the cost. This has poor suction. Doesn't pick up anything

Had vac for 1 week and returned. Poor suction, filters got dirtier than any other I have ever used. For 300 bucks I expected it to work better than my 40 dollar rigged It also has a very high pitch. Do not buy, you will return. Auto filter clean NOT.
