This pin nailer has been working fine for the trim job I needed. Hopefully it lasts for the next few small jobs I have. Anything bigger I would go air.

Consistently jams
I'm a Cabinet Repair Tech and the use of this tool is vital I've had 3 and they all have the same problem along with not shooting anything longer than 1" pin nails our company has 14 Techs all having the same nailer with the same problem. DEWALT YOUR REP is built on the reliability of the tools you make I believe in your products but you need to get this right this is not an isolated issue too many reviews reflect the same thing until then I recommend buyer be ware and try another nailer.

I'm on my third one of these, they just don't seem to be engineered well, after a day of use they seem to stop working and we can't seem to remedy or fix them. We can't even figure out why they quit working.

Pin nailer works great, but will occasionally lock up. Not because of pins, but because of some electrical problem. The lights will flash and it will not respond to trigger pulls. Nothing online about what causes the problem other than electrical, but if you leave it alone for a few minutes it will work again. Very frustrating when trying to get work done.

Repeat Jamming, not worth the trouble
I have virtually all the 20V and some 60V Dewalt tools including the cordless 20V 18guage brad nailer and a stapler. This pin nailer was great for the first few projects but it now has insufferable jamming. My buddy bought the same one and had the same problem. I bought it on March 9, 2023 and frankly I can no longer use it so have gone back to my pneumatic nailer. I see this is a recurrent problem. Yes, I'm using the Dewalt pins. I can't imagine using this tool as a contractor.

Huge upgrade from Green brand
I’ve had a green brand Brad and pin nailer for quite some time. Recently upgraded to the dewalt cordless pin nailer, and what a difference. Right out of the box, I had to do no adjustments - have not had a pin fail to fire or a single jam. The ergonomics are much better and feels great in the hand. I’m a hobbyist woodworker and use this tool a lot. After 2 months with the product, I can confidently recommend this to anyone in the market, or that wants to step up to a cordless from an air hose

Dewalt 23 gague pin nailer
Love the pin nailer but my order didn’t include the battery. There were two different kits, the one with the battery was the same price. Called customer service,could hardly understand the lady, she just said I ordered the wrong one could not help me!

I purchased this primarily to install some cedar paneling inside a closet shelving unit. Wrangling a compressor hose in there would have been problematic. The DeWalt made the job easy and it worked like a charm - as expected.

Does what it's suppose to. So far only ran a small cherry trim job in a medium kitchen. Worked well, sunk every hit and left no secondary imprint. Initial impression is satisfactory. I'd buy again.
