I used this to smooth out the edge of an epoxy countertop and it did an amazing job. Super smooth now and it was so fast.

I had my doubt about this being able to grind steel in my fabrication. It is a tough grinding wheel.

Sanding discs worked fine on the project that I needed to sand. The price was a little higher than I am used to paying, but the covieniance of having to just twist on made up for the cost.

Used it to remove rubber backing from some old carpet left on the floor worked perfect.

The rating is based on previous experience with Diablo products. I have always been satisfied with them, so i am calling this one good, even though i haven't actually used it yet. I bought it because the last one is reaching the end of its life and i wanted a replacement on hand.

Cuts quickly, and lasts quite a long time , even when using on metal

In remodeling a 70 year old home with steel interior and exterior door frames, the flap disc was used to grind down the frames and hinges in-place. It did an excellent job, was durable and safe. Impressed with how it handled curves and angles in the frames. Nothing could have done the job any better.

I'm a huge fan of using the wrong tool for a job and this made quick work of sanding down some old varnished garage doors. Sure, its eating into the lumber but I wanted fast and bare wood
