These cut-off wheels significantly outlast the competition and you don’t run the same risk of them breaking apart like traditional abrasive cut-off wheels. Well worth the money. Definitely still need to allow them to cool after longer cuts. They can still warp.

It really didn't hold up

The drill was easy to assemble BUT when it came to cutting a steel door, I was very Un-impressed! Did Not easily cut the metal and I had to resort to a sawzall to get the job done. I use Diablo products all the time… I used a Diablo saw blade it worked just fine. I’ll probably return this Metal carbide blade for a refund… needless to say … I was Very unhappy with this particular product.

I use these blades for aluminum and stainless all the time

This is a terrible metal cutting tool in comparison to the MUCH cheaper cutoff wheels. Quickly dulls in less than 5 mins with 1/8 steel and became useless to me. A single cutoff wheel was much faster. Only positive was that it won't crumble if jammed, making it a safer. Only use for thin or very soft metals.

Good little cutting blade i used it to cut eighth of an inch metal

Can’t speak in long term durability, but it takes WAY longer than the cutoff disks. Maybe since it’s thicker and removes more material?

I've made hundreds of cuts with this blade and it's still going. I back off most steel before it glows because your just cutting molten and that will dull the blade. Don't cut aluminum with it as it will melt the aluminum in no time and that will clog the blade. if you catch it quick enough use a wire brush on the blade edge. I've got to think the negative reviews are related to overheating thick steel, aluminum ,blade on backwards or poor operating tool

It wont shrinkrked well for what i needed, at least it doesn't at all so you can cut the same depth all of the time, it is slower than the cut off abrasive wheels, but it works great, and at least you don't have to wonder if the wheel you are installing had ever gotten structurally compromised by oil/ contaminates that could make it explode on you

Did not cut all the way thru the tub. A little better than the gronding wheel.

Used to cut cast iron drain pipe, very sturdy and completed the task.

Diablo 4.5 inch diamond wheel cut off blade works well as expected for a budget blade. I use and abuse them in my metal fab shop on a daily basis. Life expectancy is about 10% less than you would get from a premium blade, at about half the cost. So for me; they make sense.

Cuts metal roofing like a charm.

Works as expected diablo blades ate the best for tough jobs in my opinion

For a small cut off wheel, does a big job fast.
