The router bit performed exactly as I expected it should. Each dado and rabbet came out smooth, chip free, and perfectly cut to size. I expect my purchasing and use of Diablo router bits to increase going forward. I have only had the bit for about a week, but made 18 dado/rabbet cuts with it on a bookshelf I finished this week.

Very nice router bit. I used this to remove material to patch a door knob hole in a door. It removed the material nice and clean was sharp and left a smooth surface for gluing. It was used with a small template that I made to remove a 5" X 5" area. This type of patch is often called a "Dutchman".

I was skeptical at first since I had not used a top bearing bit. However, Diablo came through on this one. Get a piece of plywood (I used 1/4") and leverage the factory edge as your guide. This bit will make an extremely fast and clean cut that can quickly be repeated, with minimal need for re-setup. Extremely happy with this purchase.

Broke almost immediately on plywood. So disappointing .

I bought one about 4 months ago and finally used it. After 3 passes it broke (on pine). When I took it back to Home Depot they said the only thing they could do is refund the purchase price but a new one cost $10 more (after only 4 months!). So, I had to pay an extra $10. So much for the life time warrantee...

Great quality and value. Extremely sharp cutting edge, had very few splenters.

This will come in handy for cleaning or making dados or for cleaning out hinge mortices. The top (router side) bearing location makes this perfect for using with a template.

I bought this and did not know that the arbor diameter was very large like for a big commercial router. It would not fit a standard router, and you wouldn’t be able to tell by looking at the package. Now back to the store.

I needed to cut dados into plywood so I could inset the 1/2" board I was using for the back of a cabinet. the top bearing ran against the template and the bit cut the dados perfectly.

One of the blades broke off on a piece of pine. It was probably defective and not typical.
