I purchased it to use on my new hoya plants. It is very easy to use. I will have to wait to see if it works as well as I am hoping it does.

It worked very well, however with no wholes in the container, it leaked out the spout sitting all by itself, made a huge mess.

So far so good, easy to use, we got it to use with our hydroponic pots so we could easily mix it with the supply water. This is only the second week of use so nothing extraordinary but plants are dong well.

My vegetables love it and I love that it is organic! With so many pesticides to worry about these days it was nice to find the "16 oz. Organic Pump and Grow Home Grown Herb, Vegetable and Tomato Fertilizer". This year even my soil is organic. Trying to do my part for my family's well-being. It is easy to use and store and it seems to be lasting well, which I suppose means it is concentrated.

As soon as I saw this product available, I knew I had to try it. The granular organic fertilizers that I'd been using on my vegetables and herbs weren't just inconvenient to use, they smelled terrible too. I also figured most of it would get washed or blown away anyway, since it would sit on top of the soil after the first application in the soil. Overall, I'm very pleased with this pump and grow product. First of all, it is quite easy to apply, as you just pump it near the roots of the plant and apply water preferably within a few hours, according to the package (I just do it right away, it's easy enough to splash a bit of water over the fertilizer). Second, I have actually seen what look to be real results in just a few weeks on my strawberries and cucumbers. But there are a few caveats: (1) once you pop open the pump, it's essentially impossible to close and lock unless you squeeze out a huge stream of fertilizer, which would be more than you'd want for any one plant. Thus, it basically sits open after that, which is a problem because... (2) the pump leaks at the point where it joins the bottle. This was immediately evident when I got fertilizer all over my hands upon pumping for the first time, but it's also pretty bad if the bottle is knocked over, hence my concern that you can't actually close the pump after opening it. (3) while the product doesn't smell nearly as bad as the granular organic fertilizer I've been using that is mainly chicken waste, it still isn't pleasant. You'll want to get it off your hands pretty quickly, and as mentioned, it can leak on your hands if you don't always hold the bottle upright while pumping. With all that said, this is so much more convenient, and potentially effective, than granular fertilizer that I see myself using it much more on my vegetable garden throughout the summer, and hopefully getting a much bigger crop as well!

    Killed half my houseplants
I am so sad! I have been working so hard to grow some houseplants for the last year and I made the horrible decision to try and give them a little boost so I bought this and used as directed. Mold, mold everywhere, it is completely rotting the roots of all my plants. I have tried taking all the moldy dirt out of the pots, I let all of the soil completely dry, I’ve tried moving the soil away from the roots, nothing is working. I am checking on the everyday and they just continue to mold and rot. I have no idea how to fix this and I am loosing all my expensive plants.

If you try this product, all I can say is beware. I thought that this would be a cleaner and easier way to fertilize plants in pots on the patio, instead of carrying a bag up form the garden, measuring quantities for different sized pots, making sure to water the proper amounts, etc. Just a couple pumps and its all set. I was also pleased that it was an organic product and safe around pets and kids. I wasn’t expecting the explosion that happened as soon as I turned the pump to unlock it. The dark brown liquid literally shot out of the nozzle under pressure, soaking my patio furniture, my clothes and the floor. I doubt that it was packaged under pressure, so I suspect that it fermented in the bottle, building up pressure. Anyway, I found out the hard way that it is the consistency and color of soy sauce, with about the same odor. I expected something more like a gel since it was in a pump dispenser, but not so. About the ingredients, it only states on the bottle that it is “Derived from digested food materials”. I really don’t know what that means, but is sounds a lot like manure to me. Instead of trying to be coy, why not just say “made from manure”? Really, we’re gardeners, so that’s not a foreign concept. By the way, It does not come completely out of clothing even with an immediate stain treatment and washing.

Dr Earth Pump & Grow is super easy to use for those doing a container garden. They recommend 1 pump per gallon of dirt. You pump the product directly on the dirt and then water in well. jThe tomato and veggie formula is 3% nitrogen, 2% phosphate and 2% potash. This fertilizer is made from "digested food material and digested food by-products" . It is also Non GMO project verified. While not practical for large gardens, this is great for smaller container gardens and much easier to manage than big watering cans full of liquid fertilizer.

Directions say to simply squirt on the soil, easy enough, but as I suspected mold grew in the area I squirted it. Works better if you mix it in to the top layer of soil or put a little fresh soil on top and then water the plant.

Great natural product that works! I used in hydroponic garden and then transplanted when warm. Pump feature is very handy for mixing in water. I appreciate the simple math for pumps to cups of water (1 pump for every 2 cups, 8= gallon). Strong odor though, would not recommend using indoors.
