I have had this installed for about a year. My plumber installed this and afterwards said it was one of the best shower doors he had ever installed. Plus the price is great. The door is substantial so I am careful about just allowing gravity to have the door "slam" when it closes. It can be slightly difficult to grab the door from the inside to close when you are getting into the shower but this is very minor. The door and enclosure also cleans up very nicely. When I look to remodel my other bathroom DreamLine will be my first choice.

I was hesitant to order this product "on line only" since 2 months ago I was almost burnt by Sam's Club tire order. I ordered the elegant shower door assembly; from the initial Home Depot request thru to the e-mails telling where the order was to the freight carrier (Estes) delivery with no damage to the Home Depot check-out I was amazed. 2 weeks was the original estimated delivery; in 5 days it was ready for pick up. Being a former building inspector and contractor I checked and double checked everything ensuring an accurate installation. Laid door assembly on the bed, measuring heights and widths then making a wooden jig at the shower location (I was installing this unit by myself). I carried the unit to the wooden jig; held the unit steady while my wife started the lower hinge assembly. I wiggled the top into place and assembled the top hinge. After making minor adjustments the hinges were tightened. After more measurements the stationary glass and shelves assembly was installed. Up to this point it took me all day but it was well worth it. G-E 100% Silicone was applied the next day resulting in a final product. I still can not believe this unit is about 1/3 the price of a comparable Koehler door. Excellent product - excellent experience all around. NOTE: Before installation I called Dreamline (door mfg.) on two different days with two different questions and was given a prompt and professional answer both times - they are there to help you.

I was a bit apprehensive about installing this door. However, it was not that hard to do. Yes, it is tedious and time consuming but not technically challenging (even given that this is the first shower door of any kind that I ever installed. The directions are OK. There are several parts were you need to think though what they are trying to get you to do and then the direction make a little more sense. This is definitely a two (or three) person job when it comes to actually placing the door on the pivot and mounting the panel. Other than that, one person is fine. The mounts that account for the out of plumb walls and for the width make the install a breeze from that perspective. The overall product, design and workmanship are great. A couple of suggestions: 1. I'd forego the wall anchors and just drill through the tile/backer-board and then let the screws secure to the studs. 2. Use a continuous piece of material for your threshold (versus tile) and angle it so that the water will run off the threshold back into your shower.

The shower door arrived very appropriately packaged to prevent damage while in shipment. The instructions moved through the installation process smoothly without any problems

We were a little apprehensive about this DIY project. This was the crowning touch on a fairly large renovation. The product was amazing. Relatively easy to install if you are an experienced DIYer. I would highly recommend this product.

the shower door came and had a defect. I call the company and they sent me replacement parts. After waiting a week for them to arrive I assembled the new parts and discovered they were worse than the original parts I got with the shower door. D hinges we're out of square significantly. Upon finishing my installation I discovered that there weather stripping was not wide enough to cover the gap set by the factory. After going through all the frustration of dealing with this poor productand needing to get extra parts, I would have been better off getting a custom shower door from my local glass company
