Doesn’t work
I followed the instructions. I drilled in this anchor slowly and carefully with an handheld driver until the flange was almost flush with the wall. I then drilled a screw into the anchor, again slowly and carefully. The anchor started to rotate together with the screw. I think this is not supposed to happen but it did. I kept trying to drive in the screw but it just kept spinning together with the anchor until the drywall gave in and made a huge hole. Terrible

These are great until they strip.
Tried screwing it in & it would not go in so I predrilled a hole thinking I hit a stud. There was no stud. I tried putting it in the predrilled hole & it stripped & was really close to the wall. I had to dig it out & left a hole in the wall. Other then having this issue I really do like them.

Garbage
Used these anchors as directed. Anchor went in fine but upon installation of metal screw it went half way in and stopped the expansion on the anchor did not spread as it stated had to back out anchor completely a run screw in and out repeatedly before the expansion section started to spread as it was supposed to while in the wall by the time it started to open the plastic threads wallowed a 1/4 hole thru my drywall. These are junk.

Not happy
Did not work! When the cat jumped on the small shelf, even using 4 anchors, it pulled it out of the wall and on top of the cat. Upset with the holes and traumatize cat.

This is a great product for hanging heavier objects on your walls when there isn’t a stud close by. Easy to use and would definitely recommend to others.

2 out 4 anchors broke during installation
Poor quality control, 2 out 4 anchors broke during installation despite my efforts to screw them at a straight angle and applying equal pressure. Not recommending.

I needed something to hand 3 shoulder mount deer displays where studs did not line up with the placement. These allowed me to hang them wherever I wanted. Easy to use and sturdy.

I now have a giant hole in my wall.
I was trying to install a closet rod on a bracket.
It completely ripped out of the wall before I ever even put any weight on it. I was holding the shelf in one hand and attempting to put a 1/2" screw through the shelf into the bracket.
I'm now worried about every other shelf I've already installed with these around my house.

I used these to hang a photography background roller system from the ceiling. I was hesitant because I knew I’d be going into drywall, but these worked great. It’s very sturdy!

The concept is great, but, as with sheetrock it is hard to win. Trying to put in their smaller screws made their big white screws twist in the wall. I had a screw tapped into the side for the original screw to go in. And I was able to take out my side screw and it was okay. I don't know if was the size of their whole or just because they had cheap half inch sheetrock on my wall. I put 7 screws to hold up a TV. And I pulled on it. So far so good. Hopefully the little spreading it did was enough to make it hold 75 lbs per screw. So I don't know if it's a total of 75 pounds per screw or is 75 lb total no matter how many you put in the wall. It doesn't specify. If they had a better way for it to bite and not turn while I put in there screw. I would have gave them five stars. Otherwise than that it was just like any other anchor that twists on you.

Plastic becomes brittle when stored in hot garage for a few years. I suggest buying small quantities. Two in a row from my 50-pack snapped in half while threading them into 1/2” drywall.

These are great light duty hollow wall anchors and are easy to use. Tip: Pre-drill with a screw first for more accurate placement and this will verify whether there’s a stud where you’re about to install the anchor. If you do hit a stud, you don’t need the anchor and you can simply use an appropriate screw to fix your installation into the stud location. Otherwise, the screw hole will make a nice pilot hole for the self drilling anchors. It’s best to drill these in at a low rpm for consistent results, as sometimes they will melt a little at the tip one not drill in well with higher rpm. Approximately 300 rpm seems to achieve consistent results. If you overdrive them they will pull the drywall between the threads out and create a large hole while pulling all the way through the drywall panel. This is another reason to drive them in with careful control and lower rpm. I like to use the clutch on my driver, starting with lower settings. These can be used with any screw from #6-#10 (2.5-5 for metric) as long as a minimum of 1”-1,⅛” (25-28mm) of the screw is able to drive into the fastener and expand the back of the anchor, which you’ll be able to hear as a ‘pop’ or ‘click’ sound for verification. These can be driven with PZ2, PZ3, PH2 and PH3 driver bits.

These are the easiest drywall anchors I have ever used - just screw into the drywall using a #2 phillips bit with no pre-drilling required. Tighten to be flush with the wall or even countersunk a little. They seem to hold very securely.

0 stars if possible!
I bought your EZ Ancor Twist-N-Lock and it's garbage!!!
When I screwed it in the dry wall, it got stuck halfway. Using a screwdriver like they stated, the anchor got stripped/ warped the plastic. It also chipped my paint.
It won't go in all the way and it I can't get it out either!
I tried calling the contact number listed online, but wtf is 877-ITW-BRANDS? Why is there 9 digits? It should only be 7 digits.

Pretty Nifty Idea
These anchors are great for those who do not have a drill. They just screw right in with some moderate pressure on the screwdriver. They do leave a large hole and cannot be reused, so make sure you get the location right from the onset.
Mine snapped in half while I was installing it. Now I have to figure out how to extract the shards of plastic so I can patch the damage.

never had a problem with these
i cant figure out wha the other reviewers are doing. the one who said they used a hammer? these screw in, why would you use a hammer?? i drill a little pilot hole in the drywall and screw them in. simple. they also have the advantage of being removeable, again, using a simple screwdriver. the tapered design makes them go in easily. i used them to hang some Ikea shleves that look like they float against the wall without any support underneath the shelf, and put books, pictures, etc and no problems. i even have an oscillating 15 pound old fashoined fan on one of them. . . easily 50 pounds altogether. try doing that with a molly bolt, or one of those wing-style anchors.
better yet, try to get one of things back out of the wall without ripping out the drywall. these things are my go-to anchor for everything that really needs the strength.
