Save your money and buy a commercial grade blower. When i first purchased, started easily in the beginning of the first season then it wouldn't start so quickly. My fingers are bleeding from trying to start the dang thing. I wrote on it with marker last season how to start it so when I get frustrated in my attempts I won't mess up and waste more energy. This overpriced garbage is the epitome of planned obsolescence. Garbage.

The reviews were good with a few mentioning the the nozzle blows off. I figured that was a rare occurrence. So I bought one and knew right away when assembling the nozzle piece and noticing there was know way to lock it in base nozzle that there would be a problem. I can’t believe Echo missed this in design phase, because it is crazy they would sell this like this. Sure enough when I hit the trigger the nozzle blew off. OMG! Return it ASaP!

I bought one at my local Home Depot this morning, and compared to the average battery powered blower, this thing is a beast! It really gets the job done, highly recommend it to anyone who frequently works outside and looking for a powerful blower.

I got it for a late birthday present from a friend and I used it today to blow off my back porch and I love it great power it would last me a long time and I’m very satisfied with it

I love it, powerful, lightweight, effective, fuel efficient, right put of the box, easy to start, never failed. Never will. I like how powerful it is.

This model is light weight, powerful, fuel efficient, and with Echo Red Armor 2 stroke oil in the gas, will run cleanly for years to come! I love it!

LIKES: 50:1 standard oil mix Throttle control lever...so handy! Price range Powerful Light weight EASY to start...really! DISLIKES: Takes a couple of minutes to get up to top speed! VERY sharp edges where the plastic housing halves meet. Had to file the edges down and applied tennis racquet tape. That's the reason for the 4 STARS!!

I bought this Echo PB-2520 From Home depot In Crystal River, FL Today Because My Husavarna 125B stopped working after 6 yrs. I figured i would give this brand a try because it comes with a 5 yr warranty. I brought it home & took it out of the box & put the tubes together & put gas mixture in the tank & did what the directions said to do & it fired right up. I shut it off & it started right back up. I used it for 5 minutes before it started raining here. I hope this last longer than 6 yrs like my old one did

At the blower for 5 years first two years it ran great that's at 4 year then it wouldn't start so I cleaned the carburetor 2 years still running strong the only thing is you have to keep the air filter clean

This blower has tons of power! The throttle keeper lever is a nice feature and helps with hand fatigue. I am super impressed by the power output, as it pulls leaves up that are buried under grass. I would give it 5 stars if it hadn’t been such a pain to get started out of the box and if the blow tube attached to the machine more securely. It’s a little loose fitting and the bottom portion occasionally pops off. Over all I would recommend this blower.

The blower has tons of power. Good for clearing driveway and leaves on the lawn. The throttle keeper is a nice feature. My biggest gripe is that it was a big pain to get started out of the box. I also wish the blow tube attached more securely to the body.

I just bought my blower yesterday. I have such a hard time putting it down because it is a great tool and lots of fun to use. It has a lot of power and is very lightweight. The blowing force is superior and easily blows wet leaves from the soaked concrete in my yard after a rainstorm. It has a great idle speed, which is ideal for blowing the leaves into a pile without blowing them all over. It is a great product to use, and I strongly recommend buying this blower. It has a great price, and is my favorite handheld blower I have used. Great experience so far. Thanks to ECHO for the great product! It is definitely a keeper!!

I bought this blower and I am really happy with it it it will blow leaves better than an electric one plus it starts easily and runs great The only down side that it vibrates a bit but I am already use to it and is very quiet And is easier to start than others also it has more power than any other blower i was looking for i went for echo because I have a pas225sb and it works great so i chose it because of reliability as well as longevity And echo has always been dependable

I just purchased this today and was pretty excited to fire this sucker up and give it a try. For people who live in mentor/lake county you probably know it poured for hours last night & the blower did a extremely great job cleaning up the leaves in my backyard. I was actually very shocked.. this is a solid purchase for 150 dollars.

So far so good. Lightweight, but decent power. Will update this after one year...

I bought this for Home Depot on Spring Break hoping to give my yard a boost. Also bought a trimmer and lawn mower that are perfect. I took the one out the box ...inserted the tubes, added gas and guess what......it won't start!. I we t through the process at least twenty times it will not start. I am using the Echo RedArmour 50:1 mix . IT WILL NOT START!!!! I will try to exchange it but I think I'm out of luck....... I'm very disappointed

Just picked one up, seems solid like all their other products I own. I have another echo backpack blower that works incredibly, but its awkward getting on my roof with it, so got this for the task. In response to the reviews that mention the tube falls off, it is possible that they installed the curved tube backwards. If installed in the proper orientation, the protruding tabs on the curved tube should line up with grooves on the straight tube then twist to lock into place. I can see how its easy to install the curved tube backwards because the drawing isn't the best, and if it is installed backwards, there are no protruding tabs to mate with the slots on the straight tube and no way to twist to lock. I hope this helps.

This blower is great. My wife and I use it in our lawncare business and it's a great addition. We have an Echo backpack blower that works great as well. We were going to get another backpack but I like the versatility of having one of each. For small jobs its easy just to grab this and go. And once it gets going its awesome...very powerful! We had an old craftsman that was given to us years ago. It had some issues and finally died. I'm very happy with this blower. It's more powerful than our old handheld and it's lighter. And it was on sale.

I have been been looking to replace my 24 year old

I bought this blower and a weed eater about a month ago on the advice of my son. He brought the weed eater to me from Houston and showed me how to use both without losing sight, fingers, toes, or hearing. These replace old electric tools which required about 200’ of extension cords due to the size of the lot at my new house. The tools work wonderfully but I only use non ethanol fuel. I am lucky to have a station near me. As a 67 year old active man, these tools reduced my edging and weeding time by about half. I can now use this time for other endeavors, such as fishing!!!!

Had to replace my old blower just wore out. had no problems starting the new one right out of the box. Air tube never fail off. Not much different between the old and new. Just be advised and use the premixed fuel, it does not have alcohol in it which causes the fuel system to dry out.

I've had this Echo blower for about a month now. Between the blower and the Echo gas trimmer (PAS 225) I've shaved about 20 minutes off trimming and blowing my yard. Not having to mess around with a 100 ft extension cord and having to plug in at 3 different locations has been a blessing.

Easy to start and very well built but light blower. Super covinient for blowing off my roof and all those oak leaves.

Starts every time like a charm just follow the directions for correct technique and has great power!!!

I've only owned this blower for a month, so I can't comment on it's long term longevity. But it has started up every time with no problems. It was able to push a brick laid on it's side about 15 inches across the concrete driveway which my Uncle's Husqvarna 125BV was not able to do nor was my 40 Volt Ryobi blower RY40411. It does take a few minutes to warm up for you to be able to achieve those higher RPMs. Also the way the tube is connected to the body of the blower is a little flimsy, but it's not too bad. Overall, I'm impressed with the power and I've ditched my 40 volt blower.

After lagging behind other competitors which have been offering increasing power in recent years, Echo is finally releasing a stronger handheld blower than previous models.This model seems to aim to compete with the lightweight Hitachi handheld gas blower which has been a favorite among many homeowners. If the price is similar I can see this being finally a good competitive model Echo has to compete with Hitachi. This new blower's weight is decently lightweight as well (same weight as Hitachi's blower). It was a warm day today and starting the engine didn't take too much effort in my case. Noise level was reasonable and not too harsh even at full throttle which was good. Haven't compared to Toro's 25.4cc handheld blower which was doing better than Echo PB-250 (same engine as Toro's blower). This one is a definite improvement in blowing strength, although it's still not as strong as Toro's electric corded Ultra blower which I also have. It still took some efforts to blow those heavier sweet gum fruits all over the yard. Toro's Ultra still did a better job in moving those. If Echo's flare tube fits this model it can perhaps attain higher speed. Some say the blower's tube is long but I don't feel it's in anyway long and I'd prefer longer tube like my Toro electric Ultra blower. I liked the extra fan guard as that prevented air blockage to the blower and affecting the blower's speed. I also liked this as an extra safety knowing even if my pants/clothing are stuck on the guard it's still safe to continue to use the blower. Blower speed didn't seem affected when this happened. Con's One thing that really bothered me though was the vibration: at full throttle it was having a really fast and very strong vibration, so strong that I had to use my other hand to help relieve the vibration on my right hand, and even though I already had some nice gloves on, after using for a good 20 min both my hands felt numb and tingling all over. Echo needs to find a way to improve and reduce vibration on the handle. If there was some good cushion on the handle that could have help a bit. I'll need to find a way to relieve the bad vibration on my hands using this blower if not I might have to return it which is sad as I liked it's lightweight and the improved blowing strength over the older Echo handheld models. If not because of the bad vibration I'd definitely have given it higher rating. Don't know the longevity of this new Echo model will see how long the carburetor lasts... .
