Started right up worked as advertised

Relatively light weight leaf blower for the large volume of air it moves. It almost does not need a shoulder strap unless it is used for more than about 15-minutes. My wife can use it too without problems. It also starts within 1 to 2 pulls. Make sure the plastic tubes are securely fastened or the loose parts can be blown several yards away by the large cfm volume of air it generates.

Unless it's solar, "battery-powered" is not cordless. This will outlasts any battery run-time and life expectancy. As for corded electric blower (of which I've had many), still find myself instinctively reaching to untangle or step over a vestigial cord. The Echo is light enough, powerful enough, manageable maintenance-enough to make me wonder why I didn't do this years ago.

Wonderful blower. Starts easy, great throttle response, lots of power. Would definitely recommend.

I bought this because of the high reviews. However, after 8 uses in about 2 months it will no long accelerate or run at speed. After a lot of pulls to get it started, it falls flat and dies as soon as you trigger it to run. The other problem is the end plastic tub is so cheap I had to duct tape on because it falls off. Unfortunately I'm outside the Home Depot 30 day return window so I cannot return it. That 30 day policy speaks loudly about this units reliability. I just bought a new OEM carb on-line and hopefully that will fix it. If not, its a waste of $$, my last Echo product, and its going in the trash.

The unit performs as advertised and I can find no fault with it. It starts well, runs well and is superior to the older gas model it replaced. I have a very large yard with leaves, cuttings etc. and this blower has excellent power to do the job.

Pretty nice so far. I've only used it three times since my last one had to be replaced.

Great product at a great price. This is my 3rd echo gas powered device.
