I thought this would be an easy install - not so - I had someone to install the door and they didn't do it correctly. I had someone to come out from Home Depot and they would install it for 250.00 or 225.00 if I bought the any material needed to install door. When I purchased the door - it had 165.00 for installation. It the worst purchase I ever made - the box was open when I purchased the storm door - maybe someone purchased the door and returned it because it was difficult to install.

Great solid made, quality door! It really dresses up the front of the condo.

I spent about 3 hours installing it. The top corners had a gap for water to get in. I removed the top and added some caulking. The bottom has no seal to protect the partial board core from water. The inside has a gap on both sides and you can see exposed wood underneath. I don't expect it to last long. I would take it down and return it if home depot would take it back. I had a Forever door for 38 years, I don't think this will last 5.

I had a trusted contractor install my storm door. Absolutely Beautiful. Such a difference to the front appearance to our home. Only minor tweaks needed for insulating at old door frame which had nothing to do with the install. Far surpasses our older storm door unit.

There was a screw missing from the edge of the bottom which caused the metal of the door to buckle when it was unpacked and pulled out. We sort of straightened it out. It's a manufacturer error (as usual). Otherwise the door looks good and operates well.

The door looks great, closed smoothly and has a built in roll up screen. The screen makes cleaning the glass much easier.

This will only be a review on the installation and quality of the door itself but the long term reliability. The door was simple enough to install if you have the correct tools and a good working knowledge of carpentry. A helper is helpful but not needed. The door seems to be made from quality materials and should hold up for many years It took me approximately 2 hrs to install

this is a nice solid well made door and is made by Anderson. I wanted a full view door with drop down glass but this size they don't make in this color. The one i have on front entrance was prehung and was the easiest door i ever installed. This Door is universal it can be installed for right or left opening. That where you have the work building the frame and drilling a bit of holes, i just followed the easy directions step by step and was fine the door fits better than the old door i had up which i won't say where i purchased. the hardware pack does come with a 1/8 drill bit but you will need a 1/2 inch and 3/4 bits for latch assembly. Also make sure your measurements of frame where the door will go are close don't have to perfect. the door is great and i would buy it again.

Installed 3 for others. Needed a storm door for my own condo so went with exact, same door. Looks great, closes perfectly, should be great insulation help this winter.

We ordered this for a green house we made. It is perfect. Love the way the window/screen roll down! Easy to install, great quality! I highly recommend this door.

All the pieces were in the packaging; the instructions are clear. Packaging was a bit too large for my Acura MDX cargo space but managed to tilt it enough to get it "mostly" in. Had to tie down the tailgate for the 6 mile trip home. Installation is a 2 person job however. I have reasonable mechanical ability and quite a few tools and installed it by myself in 3 1/2 hours (really hot here) about 1 month ago. Moving the door around in the garage and getting the door standing into the framework and fastening it is a bit much for one person. I would have welcomed help. I am happy with the product. Looks good and operates smoothly. I installed it on my little-used "people-door" at the back of my garage to keep rain out and to allow air flow into the garage with the inner door open. As with all my projects, I allow enough time for "Murphy's Law of Triplicates" to assert itself.

As mentioned in one of the other reviews.... AVOID AT ALL COSTS; DON'T BUY IT!!! This is my 3 replacement in 8 years. They rot out within 2 to 3 years. And being the center core is wood, the door will bend like a banana where you can't close it. If you're NOT handy where you need to pay someone for installation (and replacement once it rots out), then it will cost you that much more to install, remove and reinstall. Another problem I experienced is Anderson's Customer Service. You'll be dealing with someone in a foreign country who's hard to understand and they try at all cost to discourage you from obtaining a replacement. They had more rules and requirements NOT listed within their warranty. I had to threaten them with a lawsuit after following up a dozen times to finally get an authorization letter. It only took me 9 months to resolve on MY Terms which meant NEW Door hardware (the hardware also rotter away; finish totally gone) which they wanted for me to pay for; shipping costs (they didn't want to pay for), and a prorated value for the door (the Biggest Joke!)!!! They're paying for the whole door with new hardware. The way warranties are supposed to be. Again.... Do NOT Buy!

This door is really nice and sturdy and easy to install. I did have to install firing strips to my brick moulding b/c my house is older and of course everything I buy today has to modified to fit correctly. It took me about 4 hours to install but I took my time with it. Can't wait to install the other one on the front door.

I called Andersen and the HomeDepot store i bought the unit at. The product has a lO year warranty which Andersen will not honor. Went back to the store for help and even with the receipt and says 10 yr warranty they will not step in to help with this issue. Recepit 0370 07 8390$ 11/01/2019 and door serial number is 1403280547. Do not buy this door it is a waste of money as it is rotting from the inside and Andersen will not stand behind its product.

This door was fairly easy to install and I was able to do it without any help. It was a bit heavy since the instructions did not allow for the removal of the glass. That would have made it a lot lighter and easier to manage. My only real issue came to the part where I had to install the handles on the left side of door and had to drill out the holes for that. I didn't have a drill bit large enough (3/4 in) and had to make an additional purchase for a drill bit. I've had the door up for a few weeks and it has really enhanced the appearance of my house.

I ordered this screen door as a replacement for an older wooden screen door. The door is a beautiful sand color which makes it blend with the brick. A bit of assembly with drilling of the door lock and handle. Chose this door over another brand due to reviews.

Nice product for the money. Install was easy and instructions were complete. Emco should provide door jamb extensions to fill open space between bottom of jamb and metal threshold, like Pella has on theirs. I filled my gap with armiflex pipe insulation.

Another great product from Home Depot. It seems to be a very sturdy door which locks and you need a key to open it, which to me is very important. I also love the fact that the screen is hidden but can be used as weather permits and simple to get open again the installers did an excellent job

I did all the installation, and it was not a very hard task at all. It took me more than the recommended time but not much more..

It was easy to I stall with standard tools. It does a great job holding out the cold and wind. Looks great. I like the fact the screen roles up inside the door.

Not worth the money. Bought it at home Depot and Home Depot installed it. Hinge rail cracked. Called EMCO to check on warranty. They said it must have been a Force issue , and they said they will not cover it under warranty. Cost me $100 to get part.

Love this Storm Door. I have had problems with the closure as well as the locking mechanism. I've had this door about three days.
