Overall this is a very good bench. Sturdy and almost easy to put together. BE AWARE that you will have to mark and drill your own holes to install the table top. Also the laminate top is definitely worth the extra price because previous reviews speak of the harsh care it gets in shipping. The box I got was ripped and beat up. There is no protection for the top so the laminate stands up well to the beating. Mine only has a few dings. I have had no problems with stability.

Beats having to build wooden legs. Great price. Easy to assemble.

One of the legs was taller than the other. The other had manufacturing issues like metal appear to splash (best explanation i have) and it was just painted over. If I could find a replacement I wouldve returned normally but had to shim for now and fix the other issue.

This table fits well for my work bench in my garage. Well built product.

partical board came with punctures in the top. Cheap wood product.

Home depot web site showed the workbench legs in black.I ordered the workbench legs in black.The workbench legs were delivered in gray.Come to find out the manufacturer only make the legs in gray or tan.Home depot should only advertise what is available>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.

The table is very heavy and it took two shipments to get one that wasn't damaged in transit. The top is poor quality and the frame is in a dozen pieces. I returned it and got a much nicer table with a real butcher block and 4-piece frame for the same money. I'm sure the Edsal table is functional, but it looks like something for the shipping department in a warehouse, not something for a nice workshop.

Flimsier than I expected for $500I would not buy another one

Received item at Home Depot. The packaging box was damaged to some extent. Not all the hardware was present, nuts and bolts. Went to a Home Depot competitor to get more nuts and bolts to finish table assembly. The assembly itself was not hard to figure out, but there were no directions for assembly included with the packaging. The shelf beneath the table top is not the correct dimension, it is too short. The table legs on one side are 5 - 10 degrees inward from center. The table was on sale at Home Depot. Normal price was the same at Home Depot and Home Depot's main competitor. That is why I chose to purchase item at Home Depot. This feedback should be shared with Edsal Manufacturing, Co. I kept the item and it is OK as a work bench. But I will not purchase an item of this nature from Home Depot in the future, nor purchase any products from Edsal Manufacturing. My opinion, Edsal Manufacturing should send me a new table.

Easy to put together and a good size with space underneath for storage. However the table top is easily damaged on the corners (highly recommend protecting with rubber bumpers, heavy duty tape, or edging) and the table skews back and forth pretty easily. I had to add my own cross brace in the back.

Your ad stated a wood top....it is only composite board. In fairness to the mfr their online ad states composite top board. The Home Depot ad was misleading... but it fits where I want it.

Easy to assemble, good heavy top. Good value for the money. Could be better packaged.

This is a very cheap table. The medal frame is very thin and while technically the top is 'wood', keep in mind that it is pressboard. You can't get it wet or it bubbles up. I'll have to seal or paint it.

Hardware missing. Corner of the table is broken. Flimsy construction. Hardware to complete is not included. Waste of time and money.
