Cannot tighten the nut tight enough to hold the angle....
Cannot tighten the nut tight enough to hold the angle. The wing nut is too large and gets in the way of transferring measurements to thin pieces of wood

Locks in angles
This is a great tool to have around for measuring odd angles. The wing nut locks in places well and hold the angle firmly.
