These bolts were perfect to secure the deck post (4×4) to my deck railing. The post are very secure. Other bolts in the past have broken once tighten. No issues with these bolts. They are very strong.

These Everbilt 3/8 inch x 1-1/2 inch zinc plated hex bolts come in a 25 pack box and are a great value for a general purpose fastener. They are a quality made bolt with a good zinc smooth finish and clean and accurately cut threads. These come in many sizes and the 3/8 inch is a good size for general use around the home or garage projects. I would also pick up zinc 3/8 inch washers and 3/8 -16 nuts to have on hand. The 1 1/2 inch length is a good size and these can be easily cut with a hack saw if necessary.

All bolts worked great for my project! They have a very even and well distributed zinc layer that should allow them to hold up to the outdoors for much longer than plain steel bolts! They were plenty strong to bolt together pieces of 1/4" steel plate and held them firmly. All the bolts i used threaded easily and the hex heads didn't strip, but I was using sockets so that would be a rare occurance as it is.

The EVERBILT 3/8 IN. X 1-1/2 IN. ZINC HEX BOLTS were utilized to connect two rolling tool carts as seen in the included pictures. These are very strong, coarse threaded bolts, 3/8 inch in diameter to be utilized were strong connections are needed to be made. In our case, rolling tool carts are not quite large enough for our projects so, we connect two. This allows for more tool and parts capacity while still maintaining a light and stealthy box. These 1-1/2 inch bolts along with EVERBILT’S 1 inch bolts provided a very strong connection.

I build a lot of metal working projects so I buy most of my hardware by the box. These bolts are a great value and are well made. I don't find any roughness, mis-cut threads or flaws in the entire box. I appreciate the fit and finish and that there are not metal shards or flaws to cut my fingers. The bolts tighten up well and are a good fit in the sockets, another sign of quality manufacture. If you are looking for quality hardware at a reasonable price these are for you.

This is a very high quality, frequently needed hex bolt size, one inch, in machinist preferred high strength grade 8, offered in a bulk quantity of one hundred pieces. As this is a front of the hardware stock shelf, constantly reached for item in the manufacturing and service trades, as well as the home craftsman’s shop, it is especially appreciated that it comes to you in a very tough, heavy but compact cardboard storage box, with exaggerated locking closure flaps (see attached photo’s), so you will not be spending your time picking the contents off the floor every time you try to try to snatch one out of the box. I am tired of taping up failed flimsy paper and plastic parts boxes. This box has that old-time, long gone hardware store look and feel to it. Much of the “3, 4 or 6 in a plastic bag” choices for this kind of hardware feature low strength, poor quality bolts, often with either Philips or single slot screwdriver heads, some flat, some oval, and almost all not as trim and low profile as these Everbilt brand bolts can be due to the better quality steel. They also are sometimes not strong enough to survive the first attempt to torque them down, and they are especially prone to shearing off or failure of the usually press formed screwdriver slot when you have to lean on one of them to attempt to get it out after it has set in place for a period of time. This nice offering features a strong, high torque tolerating 7/16th. hex head designed to more than stand up to you and your wrench or socket tool. This has been a live and learn process for me, so I take care in using safe, secure and more economical in the long run quality hardware, as what I build and what I repair and how long it lasts is important to me. The high performance of this product is only as good as the quality of the threaded nuts and washers you pair them with, and you need to select matching grade 8 for top reliability. I recommend this brand and this particular product based on long experience with it.

This box of 100 Everbilt ¼ in. -20 tpi x 1 in. Zinc-Plated Hex Bolts are good to have on hand in the shop. ¼ -20 bolts seem to be the most used size in my shop and I was completely out of the 1 in. length. The 100 count box is much less costly than the little packs of 6, 12, or so, and prevent a trip to the store for one, or a few, when needed. The zinc plating appears to be heavy enough to help prevent at least some corrosion. Unlike some zinc-plated hardware, these are nice and shiny smooth. I threaded several different ¼ in. nuts on one of these bolts. The threads fit just a bit on the loose side, but every other ¼ in. bolt I have fits this way. However, when tightened down, they hold well. Unfortunately, like so many things today, I am disappointed that these are made in China instead of the USA.

Everbilt products are well made as I have been using them for several years. I frequently work on multiple fabrication projects as well as repairing old water pumping windmills and towers. These standard 3/8” x 1” zinc coated coarse threaded bolts come in very handy. While the packaging does not reflect the bolt grade (strength), I believe these bolts are grade 2 bolts which meet my needs and strength necessary for my projects. A nice product.

These are good bolts and got the job done. Ive used them for several applications, most recently as axles for wheels on a dump truck toy. I screwed them into a plated tee nut and used washers.

There is a gate on the side of my house that gets nearly daily use. The latch has had to work so many times over the years that the bolt and nut holding the latch together wore out. Part of this was due to weather and rust and part was due to the constant vibration. Rather than replace the latch with a whole new one, I opted for a zinc plated bolt and lock nut. Problem solved! This bolt should never rust or wear out and should not back out like the original one did.

Its a bolt, it's designed to be used with a nut and washers, it does that very well. The thread cut is just right, the nut fit with just the right resistance. The bolt and nut manufacturer were the same company in my case and therefor there was a high degree of proper fit...ie: the class 2A bolt threads meshed well with the class 2B nut threads.. The picture is of the bolt thru the bed of my truck, before I added the uni-strut, washer, nut and jam nut I was using to secure a electric wheel chair lift in the bed of my truck.
