This product looks nice, but it’s poorly made. I purchased 2 and they failed within 6-9 months. The plastic is brittle and will break. One broke such that when the handle was pressed, it would stay in the down position which kept the flapper valve open & the water ran & ran. When the other one broke the brass bar dropped toward the bottom of the tank and the chain that holds the brass arm to the flapper got caught underneath the flapper causing it to run and run. Don’t buy this product unless you want to waste thousands of gallons of water.

This Everbilt tank lever has a nice chrome design on the handle and the lever is made with durable metal. I prefer metal as plastic levers tend to crack over time. It has a great price for a product of this quality!

Broke after 3 days. Still works but handle flops around and points straight up after use. Always seemed a little loose and floppy. I will be buying a different brand with hopefully better quality in the near future.

My old one had the plastic white retainer nut that holds the lever to the tank disintegrated, it just crumbled, so I went to get a replacement, they just don't sell the nut by itself. So I got this universal replacement and I have to say oh well, quality wise it is okay, but once installed it just doesn't seem to look right, sure it fits sort of, but it just sticks out a bit more than the original one, and the jiggle of the handle is not as smooth. I think you call it "play", it has a lot more play than I would like. Has that it may fall off feel to it, even having tighten it to the tank. Maybe that will get better with age. So for a decent replacement, this will do, but does it has the feel and workmanship of the older tank levers, maybe not. Its all that is available now.

This toilet handle was easy to install, works great, and looks great. I needed to adjust the bar inside the tank toilet based on the front curve of the tank. While the bar was sturdy and strong, I was able to shape the bar so the chain hung right over the flapper and did not interfere with the tank.

Too Big!
My last handle corroded and broke so I opted for this plastic option. the installation instructions are terrible but the company has a YouTube video that clears things up. My real issue is the size of the thing... It is so big the toilet seat rests on it. I could see this being a common issue for front located levers.

Bought this about 1 year ago to replace the original hardware on toilet original to my 1970s house. Recently found that lever would not stay horizontal - it turns up to the ceiling. While you can still flush... The plastic component on the outside of the toilet tank cracked, a small piece fell off which would I guess hold the flusher in the correct place. BAD QUALITY IF IT CAN'T LAST 1 YEAR!

Poor, wobbly fit from the beginning. Worked ok for a couple of months...UNTIL the tiny plastic stop piece broke, making the handle point straight up. Thought the first one had to have been defective, so took it back to Home Depot and got a replacement. Same sloppy fit. The only difference was that the tiny plastic stop piece on the second one broke after a few WEEKS gentle use instead of a couple of months. Handle pointed straight up again. Terrible design that relies on the cheapest, thinnest plastic parts available. Save your money. AVOID THIS PRODUCT unless you really enjoy taking things back to Home Depot and working on your toilet over and over and over.

This is a novelty item for me - I got it to replace a fully functional one that was plain white, but I thought it would be nice to match my vanity knobs. Installation was quick and easy using the righty tighty, lefty loosey rule. The difficult part for me was trying to keep the toilet from flushing while attaching the chain from flapper to flush lever.

Good toilet. We replaced it in under 1.5 minutes. Sometimes you may have a tight nut on the old lever, but with most of it being plastic, it should unscrew easily. Just unhook the flapper chain, loosen the plastic nut, clean around both sides of the hole a bit, then tighten the new plastic nut and hook the chain back on. You may have to play around and try a different holes to see which one makes the chain tight; just not so tight that the flapper is raised and leaks water into the tank when it's not supposed to
