This unit is particularly noisy and does not cool even my 20X20 sq. foot room sufficiently. The remote feature is the most redeeming quality.

Good brand fair price but too loud. If you don"t mind the noise rhis is the good aircond to buy .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought two or these units to ease the demand on my home's central a/c and my pocket book. So glad I did. I'm able to run these at night in the rooms we occupy and turn off the the central a/c. Keeps both rooms plenty cool throughout the night and I don't cool rooms I'm not using. I've cut way down on my electricity consumption as a result and that makes the summer heat even more tolerable.

I had to return this AC because it was so loud. I couldn't think with it on. It made sleeping fifteen feet away from it difficult. The noise is intense. Better to get the Keystone AC--so nice and quiet. This one, Frigidaire's 5000 BTUs, is unfortunately super loud.

Gets a 120sqft space cooler within 5 mins! The install was pretty straight forward and took about an hour to do including modifications to the window sill.

The AC unit arrived and when I opened the box it was broken. Control panel was broken loose and the casing was bent. Home Depot allowed me to return it with full refund but left me with no AC and time spent returning. Next time buying from store only.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like just about everything about this unit, the wonderful cold air, the price, the ease of function, the remote…the only problem is that the ENERGY SAVER status doesn't function completely as it should. Too often it comes on for 5 - 10 seconds and then shuts off without the compressor coming on and doesn't bring the room temperature back down to where it should be…but then, after a bunch of times doing that it will suddenly go on and stay on…sometimes for far longer than necessary…but in the end…it cools the room the way I wanted it to be and that's fine with me...

Not very quite! good price, but not to sure about the value.

I needed a replacement for the AC unit in my sunroom, where the only window that opens up and down (vs side-to-side) is only 20" wide. Although this unit is intended, as all units seem to be, for widows at least 23" wide, my handyman was able to adapt the frame for my small window and to achieve a tight, energy efficient fit. I needed a replacement immediately and found that every merchant I checked was out of all of the less expensive small units, so I bought this one, which was quite a bit more expensive than most of this size. I thought the remote control was a ridiculous extra "frill", but I find I'm rapidly growing addicted to it! I can step into my sunroom, pick the remote up from the table just inside the door, and within minutes go out to a pleasantly cooled room. My sunroom is just under 180 square feet. and this unit cools it beautifully, so don't be deterred by the fact that the specs indicate this unit is only for rooms up to 150 square feet. All in all, I am very pleased with this unit, although I would have liked to buy one of the less expensive units.

I have a small room and it works perfectly fine without any trouble for the last 2 months. Room has been cool and comfortable thruout the extreme heat of summer and I'm a satisfied customer. I currently own Two AC from frigidaire and I'm happy with them!

I found this one and it was the one. The days are getting cooler now but when I would turn it on, it would do wonders in seconds.

I've had this window air conditioner unit for about 4 months now and just love it. My favorite feature is the one that allowspreads you to set the temperature and walk away. I actually have a thermometer in that rim and is right on.

I like the fact its quiet. It works really well,and i like the remote

I bought this AC two months ago. So far so good! It cools the space in relatively little time, and the installing it was fairly easy. The only con is the weight and amount of noise it makes.
